65th Day of Summer, 511 AV
Akahi ran for her life in her human form away from the many after her, she had just arrived back home and now she is being hunted? She saw a pole attached horizontally to a building, she jumped to catch the pole swinging on it for a few time. There was a porch only a meter away therefore she could make it. Finally getting enough power, she flung herself into the air able to grasp her hands against the railing. Her strength from her past life allowed her to push herself over the railing to reach onto the porch. "Phew... They'll never get me.." She sighed. She made sure to keep herself in the shadows before anyone could see her, a bush was the best thing she could use. She stared from the view she had to make sure no one was around. Another problem though was the person that lived there, if they caught her... What would they do with her? She was unescorted to Ravok therefore she'll be vulnerable. There had to be one person she can trust in this entire place, maybe it could be the person living here. Who knew? Well she knew that she had to keep herself safe, therefore she had to calm down. Her heart was racing like a rabbit and she couldn't hold onto herself any longer, the fear of dying was among her. She didn't know what to do what so ever, she just had to pray and pray and pray that she'll come out alive. "Please... Keep me alive." She said in a rough tone, but very soft. She was on the break of tears therefore she needed to keep herself sane somehow. She decided to see if anyone was home, she knocked on the door quickly running back into the bushes. I have to keep myself disguised. She thought. Therefore she crouched into a ball feeling her hair grow and turn to white, her pupils change to a golden tone, her bones were shifting in and out, her face was changing. This always felt weird to her because well it just did. Finally she appeared as a artic fox, small and innocent. This person can't hurt her she's only 3 which is equivalent to 19 in fox years therefore she was only a adult in this form. She felt a sense of pride on her tongue except she didn't know what she was in for. She waited behind the bush waiting and waiting for someone to come, darkness was approaching and that's when more came out. And when she meant more she meant people seeking the weak and the vulnerable to become their own. She had to stay up here until she knew it was safe to go back home. She pawed against the door again but louder, running back into the bushes. Suddenly she saw someone open the door, she kept herself hidden in the bushes afraid of whatever this person was. Is this person going to hurt her?

Right at that moment she saw the person, it was a boy or a man... it was hard to tell his age but he was definitely human. He stood at 6' 4" and he was rather skinny, with chlorine eyes ad severe eyebrows, he either looked intensely concentrated on something or just daydreaming. It was hard to tell but he did hear the knock, she let out a whimper to alert him that she was here and didn't mean any harm what so ever. Hoping that he'd take her into his arms lovingly, she didn't know the outcome of what he was going to do to her. What if she died or was enslaved? He didn't seem that bad but for all she knew he could be a criminal. Paranoia hit her hard and all she was doing was struggling and falling here. She needed to get back up on that horse and ride it well until the end. This man couldn't hold her down with chains because she could clearly defend herself in ever way so who was he to stop her from whatever she was going to do. If he layed one vicious hand on her, she swore that he'd lose all his fingers and his toes to. On the other hand if she were human then he'd be a dead man. Depending on if he were better than her but everyone knew even men, never hit a girl. But in Ravok not everyone plays by the rules therefore you always have to keep your guard up, no matter what or where you are. Akahi stared up at the man with her golden eyes, her pupils zoning in and out. Within time she crawled out to stare up at the man, her fluffy tail wagging. She tried to show signs of happiness, and some human features so he wouldn't exactly hurt her.

So yeah, correct me if I'm wrong on anything :) It'd be much appreciated

Thrive For Life (Hadrian)

Postby Hadrian on August 22nd, 2011, 7:30 am

Hadrian had finally found someone willing to talk, and here they were in a safe house, but there was noise at the back door and the man had fled out the front, leaving Hadrian to deal with whatever it was. He didn't even have time to assure him that all was well, nor time to explain how he could sense auras even through walls. There was something decidedly Kelvic and terrified coming to him through the aether, and he didn't blame the young woman. Most Kelvics in Ravok were quickly made slaves.

He opened the door and immediately looked down at the winter-coated fox. Sighing, he didn't even comment on the nature he saw through the disguise of her flesh, how her aura had the shape of a woman's as well as a vixen's to him, a strange conglomeration of multiple threads of life, the masterwork of Marcus Kelvic.

"You had better come in," he said quietly, though it wasn't his house. "The streets here are dangerous."

Akahi stared at the man with her golden eyes realizing that he was inviting her in. The artic fox trotted into the room into a corner quickly where it was dark and no one could see her. He seemed to have company therefore she shouldn't be seen what so ever. The whole men chasing her thing wasn't in her 'forte' therefore she had to react. Her nerves were still mentally damaged from her previous assault. Not that she had been assaulted before but it was the first time, by her own kind. How sick they were, well it wasn't mating season but honestly kelvics mate with anyone. It's the honest truth we all get the urge here and there and it just so called happened to her. She shook her head quickly, facing her head to the floor so her eyes couldn't be seen. They were too memorizing, no one should be able to notice her anyways. She was in the dark, unless he tried to reveal her in some way then well she just had to follow orders. Like a robot, the thing she became when she grew up til now. She is loose as if a child again and it feels so good, but being alone in the cold. Far away from home made her feel horrible. It was all because of those stupid men, leading her all the way to the other side of Ravok. At least she thought this was the other side of Ravok. She looked up to the man who had followed her inside just staring at her as if he was admiring her. Well actually, there wasn't really much of a reaction. This was more like he was lazy, but he was extremely built. She looked up quickly and licked her lips quickly to sign thank you. She was happy for once in her life she wasn't been sold to anyone for once. She had grown up about half a year as a kelvic slave until she broke free and went onto the big road on her own. She was a free woman, animal... Something like that.

Her arrival had scared his contact off, so when he closed the door behind him, they were alone. She was a faint gleam of white in the shadow, though her aura blazed upon his senses at such close quarters; he would be able to find her anyway. He didn't speak fox, but he had some experience with Kelvics: Cathan and Ethan, mostly. The bolt shot home, but he explained things to her in soothing tones as he took a seat at the table.

"Nobody's coming," he assured her. "If you feel the need to leave, I won't stop you. The lock won't keep you in. There are some clothes in the other room if you feel the need to change."

Most Kelvics didn't give a rat's ass about being naked; naked was natural. But one never knew how a particular Kelvic had been conditioned until one knew them better. Many had, unfortunately, been used as slaves, others as pets. Hadrian tried to treat them like people. It seemed the wisest course of action.

This wasn't his place, but it was a place and he was there. His business was finished, but he was curious about her strange arrival. Perhaps he believed in omens, a strange reverence for the mysterious, the numinous, despite his methodical, logical understanding of the world.

"I'm Andry," he said, offering the alias he was using in Ravok.

She stared at him, her expression relaxing somewhat. She crawled back outside tugging on a bag that she had brought with her. She crawled into a nearby closet, closing the door behind her. She transformed into her human form, naked again. It was natural for her to be naked, honestly this didn't exactly irritate her therefore it was no big deal. She pulled out a blue summer dress throwing it on casually and then her white sandals. She picked up her bag and threw it over her shoulder, opening the closet door. She stood at 5' 10" and she was rather beautiful for a fox for that matter. It wasn't that she was full of herself or anything but it was mainly self-confidence. She smiled at the man, thanking him for his comfort. She crossed her arms casually, then finally decided to come out of the darkness to reveal herself. "Akahi. My name is Akahi." She said in a soft tone. She was so tired and very frightened, it was always the bad things that happened to her. She hated it so much she wished that she could just get away from everything for once. "Thank you for inviting me into your safe home... At least this is your home I'm assuming." The fact was, Akahi wasn't the most charismatic person. She had been chased and assaulted and... UGH. She wanted to just get out of this place to somewhere safe and... What was it? Oh yeah, her robot home. Where she could crawl back into the hands of her stupid parents.

What did people expect of her? She was that she was, an unescorted girl that came to Ravok. Ending up as a kelvic artic fox, she is a to be slave. She just hoped that he wouldn't take her in, if he were that cruel. She couldn't trust anyone because therefore she would give her whole life up. She'd be working probably for someone horrible, what was she going to do exactly. She was scared and nervous, so FLUSTERED. Thoughts run through her mind so quickly that she can't even take time to breath well. What was she going to do about herself? Why did her parents give birth to such an idiot, just to create her to be someone she wasn't. Should she be someone that she was made to be or what her parents want her to be. Free-will is what she wants to live but she appears more naive than anything else. Being mature and all that crap really didn't appeal to her. She had been living like that for her whole life, she honestly and truly couldn't take it anymore.

"Not," he corrected, "my home." His eyes widened slightly at the sight of her, exotic in a way that was almost Vantha, but perhaps more Lhavitian. It was difficult to say, and besides, she was a Kelvic no matter from where her human stock came. But his aura rang with a calming note, the hypnotic urge to relax transferring from his aura to hers. He was neither a powerful nor a practiced hypnotist, but he had found that using small nudges here and there with cleverness could accomplish quite a lot all the same. But he was tired after the rush of adrenaline this evening had been seeped out of his system, and now there was a prickly Kelvic with which to content. He smiled a little.

"Rented for a few days, and you're welcome to stay, though I wouldn't stay too long and risk capture unless you have money to pay for the rent. But it's safe for now. You can sleep here, at least. I can go and you can lock the door and it can be your, hm, den for the time being." She had looked like some kind of northern fox with the white fur.

"Unless you would prefer I get you out of Ravok so you can go home?"

Thrive For Life (Hadrian)

Postby Akahi on August 31st, 2011, 12:03 am

Sleep here, alone? She couldn't bare the amount of pain she had suffered in this country. She stared around, her golden eyes rather visible in the dark. Coming out would be the best thing to do so he could get a proper look of her. Therefore she stepped out of the darkness, to the side so she wasn't exactly in his face. She smiled somewhat at his suggestion, how nice he was. "I could sleep here until morning, at dawn I leave for Sunberth. My plan was to leave therefore I could rip myself away from this... Place." She said softly. Her words were powerful and to the point as always. She was like a robot after all, now and then giving a little emotion. She smiled a little at him, despite the fact he was a total stranger his aura against hers felt alright. She thought she could trust him, but decided to keep her guard up just incase. "So Andry, why are you here then? If that's too personal then I can just shut up." She laughed nervously, but softly. She didn't happen to do to well when it came to men, she always became very nervous. She assumed that it was just her kelvic hormones acting up or something. It wasn't yiffing season but either way her urges become stronger and stronger the closer the contact. Kelvics could mate with anyone, but she decided to keep a few in mind. Therefore her options weren't open, but more narrowed in. Someone who she was able to get along with and wouldn't end up ripping their heads off. Unless she could do that then she would unless they pissed her off.

Waiting for an answer, she allowed her eyes to roam around the room. It was him and herself, alone. Oh my, my, my. What was she going to do, her animal urges always got the best of her. She had self-control yes, but sometimes these things get out of hand, yes? She laughed by force in her head, the more crazier her cluttered mind was the worse she was. She was born to be a robot, at least taught to be one. She had to learn combat on her own from her better family members. She called them mom or dad therefore she didn't have to think of her ignorant parents. They were bastards for one fact and despite the fact they love her, she didn't. Her father didn't want a kelvic, he wanted a human. But no, she had to be a human and not different. Different her ass.

"Sunberth?" he asked, dubious. "Out of the frying pan and into the fire, but I suppose there you won't automatically become property of whoever lays claim to you." She was an odd one. He was no expert in animal, human, or Kelvic behavior, but she seemed odd even so. She seemed to be quite cool and calm now that she was indoors, walls and a lock between her and danger, though for all she knew, he might be dangerous.

"Here?" he asked, falling back on the objectives of his Andry persona. "I'm in Ravok investigating trade opportunities for my father back in Zeltiva, though I've been spending more time drinking than anything else."

"Your not drunk right now... Right?" She asked him a soft tone. She felt rather relaxed but what he didn't know was that this was all a gimic. She kept herself cool but truth was her guard was up on high. She didn't know the man what so ever, therefore... How could she trust him? He was a total stranger, more or less like a rich standard. Such as herself, but still. There was one edge about him that just didn't fit in the puzzle. At the moment she shrugged it off quickly, just like a fly.

She giggled at her small remark. She was a strange one but she didn't care. She was that she and nobody could change that. There was always this little bit of life in her that she always had. From a child she had hidden it for special occasions when she was away from family. Now she uses it most of the time. For now she just kept to herself when she was with strangers. Being in Ravok wasn't the most welcoming type of visit she made ot her home town.

"No, not right now." He smiled vaguely, unsure whether or not to be amused. Her mind seemed to wander about as aimlessly as a butterfly's, and he was still trying to figure out what he should do with her.

"Would you like me to leave?" he asked. "Like I said, you can lock the door behind me and stay here until you're ready to leave for Sunberth. Though I think you will have a better chance getting out of Ravok in human form. It would be easier, I think, to slip out if you look human than if you prove a too intelligent fox."
