Greetings to all.
Just wanted to make a matchmaking thread to introduce a new Fang in Taloba. For those who don't know what a Fang is, it's the smallest squad in the Myrian army. You can find more information regarding the Fang through the link " Info About The Fang " in my signature.
Here are some things you might want to know before deciding to check it out or otherwise.
* The goal of this Fang isn't to become the most powerful, lethal or notorious group in Taloba or Mizahar. It's to provide a fun group for people who want to play a Myrian in Taloba, so that they have more threadpartners/stories/unity. Not to mention that once there are enough people in the Fang or in Taloba, the region will thrive and even more people will start out in Taloba, which in turn means even more threadpartners. So if you ever wanted to make a Myrian but were put off because of the lack of RP'ers in the region, now is the perfect time to make one.
* There are virtually no requirements that you need to have in order to join the Fang, although I did write down a few "rules" on the lay-out of the squad, they aren't set in stone. They are just guidelines that could help you.
* This is a brandnew squad/group, so don't be put off that we don't have many members yet, it might take a bit of time and there might occur a Myrian Boom, who knows.
* I'm not the leader of the Fang, the leader & co-leader of the Fang will most likely be NPC's considering they are fierce warriors and tacticians that we can not possibly be on creation or in a short amount of time. But in time, if you so desire, you can become (co-)leader of the Fang once you have proven yourself 'worthy enough'.
So, that's pretty much all I wanted to say. Let me know what you guys think and if you'd be interested in joining the Fang.
Cheers. ^^ |

Greetings!
I feel I must set things straight before this endeavor goes any further. I'm not sure what you had in mind exactly for this group but to clarify with regards to how your group will fit into Myrian society, if you plan to make this an official part of the Taloba army, only Myrians are allowed to fill in the ten original positions of the fang.
But what about those players who are interested in joining your ranks but belong to a different race, you ask? Worry not, for they can be considered honorary members of the fang and join in on any missions they may have (ST-modded or player-run) but only once they have earned the trust of their Myrian compatriots. These Myrians would then vouch for the non-Myrians, and they will be tasked to do two things: to make sure that their non-Myrian members do not step out of line and break any of the city's laws (there are very few, don't worry) and, more importantly, to keep watch over them at all times. This second part is usually not revealed to the non-Myrians even by those Myrians close to them, due to the following reasons: 1.) they (the non-Myrians) may think they are not trusted (in all honesty...they aren't, not by the rest of Myrian society anyway, even if the Myrians they are close with believe in them whole-heartedly), and 2.) to prevent them from being on their guard if in truth they are up to no good.
Alternatively, you may choose to establish a group that is separate from the Taloba army but you will be required to purchase your own hold as the Garrison will not house you. Any race can be official members of this group then, but the leader will always be a Myrian and likely female (though not always). At least half of the members should be Myrians as well (use of NPCs is fine to maintain the number).
Naturally, Dhani, Nuit and Charoda need not apply to join, half-breed or otherwise. They are killed, burned and eaten on sight, respectively.
I set these limitations to maintain the flavor of the Myrian race and culture. And you have to admit, they make for interesting themes and conflicts for threads between Myrian and non-Myrian PCs.
Good luck, and have fun! |
Notice: I will not be available for modding in the foreseeable future until I've cleared up my backlog of Miz stuff (PC and ST-wise). Hopefully, it's a temporary thing, but we'll see. I will still grade your threads, however.

Thanks for the clarifications and input, they are most definitely true and this group can be considered almost exclusively for Myrians. Although exceptions can be made under certain rules/requirements, as Rage already stated.
