Dra moved back and bowed her head a little, trying to hide the smile that played across her lips. The song was depressing and sad she knew, but singing it always gave her the greatest sense of awe, and the fact that the girls had liked it made the feeling doubly so. Then the memories came. Memories of pain, anguish and death, her last memories. The smile dropped from her pale lips like a rain drop from the clouds, to shatter upon the ground that was her recollections. Steeling her resolve, Dra banished the memories from her mind, hiding them away before pain and grief could take her.
She looked up at the two girls placidly, hoping her face was the mask she wanted it to be. Seeign their expressions gave her courage, and so she moved forward again in an attempt to seem less frail than she actually was.
"You really liked it?" Dra asks, upon seeing the girls astounded faces in reply her smile returns, "It is an old song, from my past, and though I know many old songs, I have yet to find this one anywhere but in my memories."
Inching closer still, Dra wished she had more of an explanation to give the girls, but she could not find any.
So she said simply, "I'm unsure if there is any accompaniment, or if it is just a lyrical piece, but of all the people I've met, no one knows this song." Dra shied away turning her head, raelizing how silly she must sound, a ghost looking for a song, what a folly tale that was. "I know other songs too, though I'm not very good at them," she said changing the subject, "I'm sure I could get better though, especially with two more artists possibly with me . . ."
Dra trailed off, looking from Sam to Iliana, hoping that they were all on the same page.
