A half-collapsed city of alabaster and gold fiercely governed by Eypharians. Even partially ruined, it is the crown of the desert and a worthy testament to old glories and rising powers.

Arriving in Ahnatep {Grandfathered}

Deshira listened to his words, Sashua beginning to get restless from all the people around them as they passed through the streets. She stroked the horse's neck, and thought for a moment regarding his question about Yahebah.

"Perhaps." It wasn't her original intention to go farther into the desert; She wanted to leave and begin her adventure. Of course, her grandmother's passing from the fall season flickered in her mind, and a brief frown formed on Deshira's lips. "Yes. I must go. Eventually." To be completely truthful, Deshira would only head to the Benshiran city to tell old trading partners about the old woman's death. Growing up, her tribe often traded with them, and some had befriended the elder. It would only be right to do so. If she was to eventually leave Eyktol, she would need to finish her business and continue, instead of run away.

Looking over at the inn, there was a trough where you could tie your horses, and that was a main concern for the Chaktawe. She needed to keep Sashua healthy, and hydrated. He was a young horse, but they would be riding a lot. Going to the water, she tied up the animal, and nodded at Vin in the process. "Yes I will greet." She smiled once more, dismissing her dead grandmother from her mind, and cleared her throat. Her tone was earnest, and relieved, "Thank you."

It had been her first day as anything more than a lonely lost girl in the desert, and yet she had met people who were willing to help. She barely knew this white and black haired man, and although he could be deadly or conniving to everyone else for all she knew, he had been kind to her. Perhaps she was speaking too soon, but so far her journey, which had been born from death, was looking up. There would be trials to come, but some in which Deshira was prepared to face.
