Self-ModSelf-modded with Fallacy's permission ![]() Winter 2nd, 511 AV This was it. The Withering Rose, and Mneme's chance to earn a few Mizas. Her chance of actually getting a job wasn't 100%, but it was better than nothing. Much better than nothing, especially if she wanted to buy new stuff. The Eypharian blood in her always influenced her to want to buy lavish decorations and clothing, and living in a plain, hum-drum house and wearing plain clothes was getting to her. This building had a slightly creepy yet alluring air about it, and reminded her slightly of Ahnatep. The slight smell of perfume emanating from the building only reminded her more of her home. Pushing through the doors, the restaurant's inside greeted her. The first thing she noticed was how dimly lit it was, with the heavy velvet curtains - while gorgeous - obscuring most of the light. The main light source were flickering candles, set in sconces along the wall. It was overall, at least to Mneme, comforting. This reminded her of Eypharian way of life, and if this tavern were in Ahnatep...almost none of the white rose tables would be filled. At least, that's what she thought. The Eypharians were always so...intense about everything. Enough about Eypharians. Reminiscing wasn't what she was here for, not in the least. Pushing her way past tables of Alvads and visitors, deep in discussion, but she wasn't interested in a table, not at this time. Mneme needed to find...what was her name...Raven? Renee? Raenuh. Raenuh Duval, that was it. She tapped a girl dressed in black velvet on the shoulder, which made the waitress turn around. "Yes? Do you need anything?" Her tone was dark and sultry, which was to be expected in a place like this. She frowned slightly at the sight of Mneme, most likely at her way of dress and slightly unkempt-for-the-moment look. "Yes, can you point me to...Raenuh Duval? She owns this place, right?" Her voice was almost completely the opposite of the server's, right down to it's light but slightly accented tone. She felt a bit awkward compared, but for the time being it didn't seem to matter as much in her mind. |
