Exactly what are the criteria for selecting a picture for our character? Can it just be any picture of our choosing or is there a set of guidelines?

Well, it should represent your race well and I wouldn't recommend taking current most popular actor or anything. I think I read you shouldn't put your picture as well, but I'm not sure about that one.
