Lusa Race: Kelvic, white-tailed deer Age and Birthday: Two years, Spring 3, 510 AV Gender: Female Fluent Languages: Ruminant, Common\ Physical Description
Lusa is small in her human form, reaching about five feet and two inches in height. She is lightly tanned from days grazing in the sun, with very dark hair that she keeps shaggy and short, disliking the way it tickles her shoulders when long. Her eyes are wide and deep, very appropriately termed 'doe eyes.' Her build is rather average, thin boned and delicate but with rather muscular legs. Flat chested and wide-hipped, her figure is a bit unbalanced, but has its charms. She prefers to wear little or light clothing, both to make transforming easier and because she dislikes being weighed down.
Lusa appears much the same as any other white-tailed doe in animal form, weighing about 150 pounds with russet red-brown fur during the spring and summer seasons, which darkens to a grey-brown throughout fall and winter.
Character Concept
Lusa is very skittish, prone to suddenly startle at unexpected movement or sound. This is compounded by her less than stellar mental faculties. Lusa isn't necessarily stupid, but she is prone to distraction and doesn't enjoy difficult tasks. However, she is completely capable of following orders (as long as they are not overly complex) and she is quite reliable for household tasks and courier work. In fact, she prefers a simple life, uncomplicated by unnecessary danger or excitement, but she seems to get pulled into troublesome situations anyways. She happens to enjoy cooking quite a bit, and loves eating. Perhaps her only true ambition is to taste as many delicious things as the world has to offer. Although she can be a terrible coward, she has a deep sense of loyalty, and refuses to let good deeds go unreturned.
Character History Lusa lived most of her life happily with her mother, a Kelvic wolf, in the forests outside of Sunberth. When she reached maturity, she began to feel that something was missing, having a sense of emptiness that she couldn't seem to fill. Her mother, a wise woman, knew that Lusa was experiencing the desire to bond as all Kelvics do, and sent her to the city to begin her search for completion. The little deer quickly became entangled with a gang of mercenaries, becoming close to several members including Zandelia and Kit. She followed the group to The Spires after the Djed Storm of 512, becoming caught by the creeping fog there and going feral. For several weeks she wandered in a half-aware haze, living as a wild creature once again.
Heirloom: A small iron pot, which Lusa picked out of the trash and cleaned up. |
