An inland sea created by Ivak's cataclismic fury during the Valterrian, the Suvan Sea is a major trade route and the foremost hub for piracy in Mizahar. [lore]

As per usual, the Anchorage Flotilla was alive with noise. People chatted loudly amongst themselves, bartering with the merchants or generally just catching up with each other. The afternoon sun was high in the sky, causing Gabrielle to squint her eyes as she looked around. However, it was winter and they were in the middle of the sea, and as such the wind was cool against her skin.
It hadn’t been long ago that she had gone to the Flotilla, but being there once again woke her spirits. She liked being amongst the Svefra. The Flotilla was one of the few places where her culture could be understood—unlike in the land cities where the races of others prevailed and her actions were often misunderstood.
She had tied her casinor in the north end of the Flotilla. Gabrielle was ferrying a few people to Alvadas, and a few had voiced out their interest in making a stop by the Flotilla. It didn’t take much to convince Gabrielle—she herself wanted to be there as well.
The young Svefra walked across planks and decks with ease, looking for a good merchant to barter with. Curiously, Gabrielle turned her head to see if her companion was still with her. He was a man short of stature whom Gabrielle had not spoken to on their trip so far, and thus she didn’t know too much about him. However, she was welcome to guiding him through the Flotilla as she was much more familiar with it than those she was ferrying. Gabrielle wondered if they had even been there in the past.
The Flotilla was ever changing, but a simple word with a nearby Svefra and you would be pointed to the right direction at once. But the Svefra was a mischievous race at times, and she somehow felt responsible if her companions would be duped in a trade they could have gotten a much better deal for.
“What would you be looking for?” she asked the man named Bob Barton, her eyebrows raised in inquiry. |
