The color swept away from Nira'lia's features when she heard Canrehne tell her about the consequences of interacting with the dead. Apparently, the risks were high and could prove lethal. "Well, that's not good..." the Konti squeaked, a sheepish smile on her face. "It's just that I know a lot of people who wish to speak to those on the other side, but... if it's that dangerous, uhm..." Her words trailed off, and she chuckled nervously. In the end, the spiritist still told her where to find her, which was good. At least Nira'lia would know where to look if she needed her. The Konti nodded gratefully. "I have to go, I'll clean the bandages myself, don't worry..." she giggled. "Also, don't stay too much on the edge of the pier, okay...? The sea is dangerous... I was there recently and a rabid dolphin tried to eat me." Her statement sounded silly, but it was true, although the dolphin didn't exactly try to eat her. She had gone to the sea to collect some kelp for medicine, and in the process she had found a wild dolphin. The creatures were usually nice—but that one tried to smash itself against Nira'lia. Nira'lia attempted to wave at Canrehne, but the bandages in her arms prevented her from doing so. Instead, she leaned down in a formal bow, because that's all she was able to do. 'Canrehne, the spiritist, can be found at the pier during night time...' she repeated in her mind just so she could remember. With a final goodbye, she went on her way. |
