Asha Basic Information Name: Asha Race: Jamoura Age: 181 Birthday: Summer 17, 333 Physical Description Like her mother, Asha runs on the smaller side of Jamoura. She stands at 6’8’’ and weighs roughly 450 lbs. Her broad body is covered in course black fur, thick and lush in her youthful vigor. The skin on her face and chest is smooth and gray-black. Asha’s eyes are a deep, chocolate brown just like her father’s eyes. Character Concept Asha is very friendly and tries to see the best in people, even when it could lead her into trouble by trusting the wrong person. When she meets someone new she usually greets them with a practiced smile and carefully chosen warm words in an attempt to start things off on a positive note. She exemplifies her people's peaceful nature and does not enter in conflict unless no other option is left to her. She understands the occasional need for violence but view those who seek it out as brutish and cruel. She is very patient and understanding but of course can be pushed to irritation and anger. Her negative emotions are usually internalized and she typically acts a little cold when upset but rarely blows up. Asha is fiercely loyal to friends and family and has very firm views of right and wrong. She tends to be an insatiable knowledge seeker and likes trying new activities to gain experience from them. Anything novel or exotic to her is a source of investigation and exploration. She has some boundaries, of course, of what she will delve into but she has yet to explore the definition of those. For the first time in her life Asha is beginning to explore life away from the confines of the Spires and her family. She holds her community in great esteem and as a beautiful example of how to co-exist with nature but is eager to see new sights and learn about different ways of life. She has a hard time understanding and accepting when faced with philosophy that is counter to what she has grown up believing but is eager to explore and discuss further with knowledgable individuals. Character History Asha is the only child born of Subira, second wife of a wise and genial alpha named Joff. She grew up raised by her mother and her father’s two other wives, Nashi and Balha, along with their offspring. Joff was always interested in his children's education, and loved to lecture them for hours about matters of life and the world. Her mother was a wise botanist, and took the children on many excursions to pass down her knowledge. She even gave Asha an old, yellowed book describing the plant life of the Spires with elegantly drawn pictures. Asha loved trips to the forest floor with her mother and found a special place in her heart for willow trees. As a youth, she wasn’t exposed to many intelligent species, partly because the traveler is so rare in the Spires. Her first human sighting scared her greatly, the bizarre hairless bodies seemed so exotic to her. The more she saw these creatures the more they intrigued he. As a youth she was too shy to speak to humans but as she grew she had the good manners to nod at them and eventually gained the confidence to greet and converse with them. She has grown comfortable with their presence and enjoys hearing the strange and interesting stories they often bring with themselves. Recently, Asha has visited Lhavit and experienced the feeling of being a stranger in a strange place. She is intrigued by everything that surrounds her and she is learning rapidly about a culture very different from her own.
