Time Stamp: 20th of Spring
Shishi was alone. Well I guess that wasn’t completely true she had the sun didn’t she? The woman way laying on her back in the grass with a black veil of hair around her. Her golden hazel eyes were squinted a bit as she was looking up at the sun. Her hands stretched up in vein to reach it, knowing it would leave her alone at the end of the day; just as her mother left her alone in the end.
The woman sighed and turned her head to look at the scenery around her. It was a lovely field with flowers that sprouted up randomly in between blades of grass. She felt more in touch with her other side in this place. It was peaceful, but also very lonely. She didn’t feel so alone as a lioness though. In that form, Shishi had power and strength. In that form she could run quickly and freely. Shishi joked to herself that perhaps in that form she could pounce on the sun.
Maybe Shishi should become that form now. Perhaps she wouldn’t be so alone then. She could burn off the energy she felt from missing another. The woman stretched her body out and closed her eyes. She was going to become her other self.
The woman tilted her head and listened. Her eyes drifted open in awareness. Shishi was not alone. But, who was here? She guessed it didn’t really matter. Being a lioness was her secret retreat, so any presence was an incentive not to change. Now, stuck as a human, she longed for company. Shishi continued to bask in the sun as she looked around the field for her company.
