The Mess Hall is where the majority of meals are cooked and served. It can house about three longhouses worth of people, and is always bustling under the heavy demand of those needing to eat. There are several seating areas and several fire pits to keep the building warm. There are cooking fires dotted around the building, all of them constantly manned. Cooking isn't limited to gender only, anyone wishing to help out can. Many of the workers will even be willing to teach you how to cook, as well as identify safe to eat foods in the area. All of the meals are free of charge, assuming those wishing to eat have been making themselves useful to the encampment. You collect your meal from a cooking pot and take it inside to eat. There are no servers, so you clean up your own mess. Any who do not help clean up, or treat any of those working to provide the food in a manner less than polite, will find themselves on latrine duty. Any escalations or violence will result in banishment from camp, which will result in an almost certain death. When the Djed Storm of 512 AV began, Grath made her flee the city, while he stayed behind to help in the chaos. She eventually found her way to the Base Camp, where she applied her talents in cooking to form the Mess Hall. She understood that everyone needs to eat, and this would bring a better sense of community in this time of chaos.   Employment And Training Employment and Training is available at the Mess Hall.
