"Why to fight? It seems obvious to me... You either fight to defend yourself, to defend those you fight in the place off... Or to hurt those who might hurt you... But if you truly hope to serve someone, how can you do so if you cannot also protect them? Or yourself? I would think being attacked by an akalak with a blade trying to skewer you, or cut you to pieces, you might see the usefulness in being able to fight...So, I suppose I will let you leave, but you are not to come inside my house without permission again... Or to try to take my things without asking... But if you do leave, what will you do? Were will you go tonight?" John thought on this. He had been threatened by many people, generally those who houses he broke into, or those in the park. And he did have a home, even if it was just his den, to protect. But what really sunk in to him was that he would not be able to protect someone he might hope to serve. To a kelvic, this was unacceptable. Having been enlightened to a degree by Rykanis, he felt happier, but also determined. He answered Rykanis, solidifying what he was to do now in his own mind. "If I leave, I will go and learn how to fight. You have taught me that I need to fight, so I will now learn, and practice, and be able to fight. As for tonight, I will do some searching, and then return to my den for sleep. Tomorrow promises to lead me to a place where I hope to learn to fight. I thank you for your wisdom Rykanis."

Rykanis simply looked at the kelvic, listening to its response... He assumed that the kelvic was trying to butter him up, to sweat talk him, and get him on his good side, but there was something about him that just made Rykanis not like him... He could not put his finger on it, but... He tried to think back, to the other kelvics he had seen... And recalled he did not feel that way around the female kelvics... Maybe then it had to do with this one being a male? Perhaps it was some odd male competitiveness thing which was going on, without really doing in on purpose... He himself knew quite well that there were many oddities to the mind, which he would likely never understand... Perhaps this odd male rivalry was just one of them? But regardless, he doubted the two of them would ever really be to close, perhaps rivals, maybe partners in a fight, but not... He was not really sure how to say it... "Yes, maybe some time we will meet again... And if you want to learn to fight with your body, there are few places to learn better than Tuvya Sasaran... I often train and spar there... Well goodbye, and don't come into my house without permission again." Having said that, Rykanis simply motioned for the kelvic to leave, he would recall his face, and his animal form... If he had to he could recall it... But for know, he would keep it in secret... Perhaps as leverage if he needed it on the beast...

Rykanis, you left a good amount of room for sharing actions and stayed very well in character with a suspicious nature. Excellent portrayal of a spy-like opportunist.
