[Soothing Waters] A Day for Relaxation [Open]

50th Spring, 512 AV, Mid-Morning "Hello there. What can I help you with?" was how Miranda was greeted when she entered Soothing Waters Bath and Massage. She was familiar with the greeter, Ivis, as she had been visiting the bath since she was a child, far before he had even begun his work there. Smiling gently she paid for the usual; unlimited bath time, a towel and laundry services for her clothes. Moving into the change rooms on the left she de-robbed quickly, handing her clothes to a nearby attendant and storing shoes and her bag in one of the lockers. Wrapping the towel she was given around her torso she left the change rooms, exiting into the large courtyard. She loved the sight of the Soothing Waters, the pale stone and huge pillars, the still, clear blue water. There were few people today, being as early as it was. Unraveling the towel from her body she folded it neatly, handed it to one of the attendants and descended the steps into the warm water, sighing with relaxation the moment the silky water slid over her skin. The water really was soothing as the name promised, just what one needed to kick off a quiet day for healing and relaxation. Smiling gently she wadded slowly to a corner and perched on the ledge that ran around the entire interior. Accepting a bar of soap from a nearby attendant she ran it over her body, being sure to wash away all the dirt and sweat that had accumulated since her last visit. Dipping her head under the water she moved onto her hair, carefully untangling the long blonde strands. With a sigh she returned the soap and leant back, allowing herself to sink deeper into the water. Her eyes drifted shut and she found herself reminiscing of her childhood, when she would come here with her family and then, years later, her husband. She frowned, sadness creeping its way into her heart at the thought of her husband. It had been so long since she had last seen him, she didn't even know if he was still alive. Sighing she shook away the thoughts and gazed at the water once again, admiring the way it moved when she did, in gently ripples that spread and spread.
