A city floating in the center of a lake, Ravok is a place of dark beauty, romance and culture. Behind it all though is the presence of Rhysol, God of Evil and Betrayal. The city is controlled by The Black Sun, a religious organization devoted to Rhysol. [Lore]

Yet another day... [Rhakash]

33rd of Summer, 512

Every day passed like the one before. Since Frederica decided to let not only her body, but her spirit rest in Ravok... there seemed to be something missing. How could one explain it? Frederica yearned not for more action at the moment, as action was what happened every other day, but there was this grating... feeling. She felt like she had to move, she felt like she had something to do. It was as if a voice spoke to her; telling her to do more. Telling her to go out and accomplish something, telling her to expand her currently halted horizons. Neither power nor knowledge would grow if she merely sat still. And what she needed, was more... po-

Frederica's eyes shot open. She caught her mind slipping this time. She had heard that overusing magic might be bad for her mentality, but she thought that was more of a cautioning tale than something that could happen to her. It seems like drifting in the bath of power does have negative consequences... but it wasn't as if she used her abilities aimlessly, was it? Power was always to be used when there was a need, not when there was a 'convenience'. But more and more, especially now that her mind was rested, she started to fall towards a lust for power. Giving a mind more rest, giving her the chance to think... resting seemed to advance the encroaching so much! How could this happen! Had her mind been slipping for longer, but was this just the first time she could catch herself in the action?

The young woman pushed off the wall, her hands curling up into fists as they crossed in front of her chest. However, their movement did not stop there, and instead they travelled to her head... brushing her fair hair backwards and removing whatever could've fallen in front of her eyes. Ah, she almost fell asleep... somehow, her mind had approached the state of perfect tranquility, even while in such a pose. Ah, what a difference from the old days; her body not even yearned for beds as such anymore. Rest had to be found wherever possible, and sometimes, 'against a wall' is the best location. Although; sleeping, in the middle of the day? It was almost good luck that not only her mind slipped, but she caught it! It wasn't that she was on the middle in the street; after all, she was standing in an alley, away from the main populace of the city. However, if someone did find her, in a location like this... the results might be unpleasant.

But such things are not to be thought of now. Frederica had enough rest, and her body earned for action. Getting a little practice in, a little movement, maybe even something as simple as a bit of running, would ease her frustration, would it not? If a bored body yearns for action, action is what you give it. Her arms stretched behind her body as she paced herself. While she couldn't accurately gauge the time without aid of a clock, it seemed like it was late in the afternoon, or maybe even early in the evening. She was in the east of the city, in the less affluent districts. Luckily, not many people seemed to be around at this district, so she would be undisturbed in whatever she decided on doing.

Ah, how shall this day unfold...?
