She has basic knowledge of wrestling combined with a history of dance, acrobatics, and a very toned and fit body. She has a natural closeness to those she comes in contact with, and is very open for she has nothing to hide. Rosalyn is very open-minded and understanding and loves gaining new knowledge. She makes and keeps friends easily, and is a faithful friend, lover, and companion. Character History Rosalyn was born in Syliras to two happy and loving parents. She grew up in the same life that most live there. She and her parents lived happily in the Third Tier of the citadel, with her father humbly working in trade and her mother a part time seamstress and stay at home mom. Rather than a formal education besides a little writing, Rosalyn learned the necessities of life rather than curriculum. She learned a little of cooking and sewing from her mother, basics enough to make due if she had to, and she learned basic wrestling from her older brother. Eight years older than her, growing up together, they often argued and fought with one another, as normal siblings do. No matter how many times she would try to punch or kick Damian, instead, he'd pin her down and use various wrestling moves on her to immobilize her. Over time, she picked up these moves, though more how to get out of them rather than how to put them in place. He helped build her strength, and she can surprisingly hold her own most of the time, despite not appearing like she'd be able to. When she wasn't helping with chores and things, Rosalyn took to meandering around Syliras, studying the people around her. She had always been fascinated by what made people tick; their thought processes, habit patterns, and the way they looked at life and it's various situations. She longed for higher education to teach her more about these things, but until that happened, if it did, she learned what she could on her own. In turn, this has made Rosalyn a deep thinker, and wiser than she'd normally have been otherwise. She has gained an understanding of humanity as a whole, as well as an understanding of how thoughts and emotions are connected to a person. She relates to people very easily and can usually pick up on things they're trying not to expose. She reads people, and she's usually good at it. This also led to her dabbling in religion. Her parents never spoke much of it, and she honestly didn't know if they were religious or not. But something caught hold of her about the Gods and Goddesses and pleasing them. It just made sense that they all played different parts in the world's happenings, as well as in the life of each individual that lived in this world. She thought of the things that took up large portions of her life, and the corresponding Gods and Goddesses have been dear to her ever since: Nsyel is dear to her because Rosalyn is fascinated by dreams and their meanings. The mind is a wondrous and scary thing, and life's biggest mystery is that of the mind. She believes Nysel may hold many of the secrets to unraveling the mind through dreams. Leth is perhaps Rosalyn's favorite. His representation of the moon, change, reflection, and thought, highly pertains to Rosalyn. While she simply loves the moon and nighttime, change, reflection, and thought are all very large factors and obstacles in life, for everyone. Rosalyn believes this too is connected to the mind, for everyone perceives these things differently. When Rosalyn becomes lost in deep thinking, she is often contemplating change or reflecting on her life as a whole and the changes that have already occurred in her life. Holding Cheva dear to her is probably not a surprise. It's only natural that a woman would. Love, marriage, passion, and vows were important to Rosalyn, just as they are with at least most women. Rosalyn believes heavily in passion, not just in the romantic sense but in everything. She pours herself into everything she does, not just intimate things. Rosalyn's had the dream of finding a companion to cherish and spend her life with ever since she was a little girl. It's one of her biggest goals in life. However, she doesn't rush it. She knows that Cheva has a plan carefully laid out for her, as she does everybody, and things will fall into place when the time is right. Qalaya means a lot to Rosalyn because writing is the only real form of education she has, and she enjoys it, and because Qalaya is the keeper of memories. Rosalyn believes that memories are some of the most precious possessions a person can ever have. Memories make who you are, attribute to the things you do and the way you do them, and allow you to have goals and dreams, relationships with fellow people, and learn life's lessons. Something else she learned a bit of growing up, was acrobatics and dance. Music was always played somewhere, and in her wandering, Rosalyn usually found it. From the first time this happened, all the way until now, when music is playing, Rosalyn can't sit still. Music moves her, frees her even. She absolutely loves it, and she's pretty decent at it as well, for being self taught. To help with the dancing, and just to stay fit in general, Rosalyn is very acrobatic. What little weight there is to her, is solid muscle, and she's extremely nimble and flexible. These skills help with all sorts of things, from riding to dance to climbing to wrestling, and just about any number of other things. When she turned eighteen, Rosalyn moved out of her parent's home and into her own apartment within the citadel. None of them wanted to see her leave, seeing as her brother had already left before her, but they understood she needed to move forward with her life. Rosalyn encouraged them that they spent so many years taking care of children, they should be happy to be to themselves again. This soothed them a little bit. Rosalyn still visits them from time to time, but mainly stays to herself and focuses on her own life. She grew up involved in her parent's lives. It was time for her own now.
