Plants vs Charoba (open to any race)

25th Day of Summer Lliwen stood nervously outside the Garden of No Return, thinking over yet again if she really wanted to go in. Her curiosity pulled at her feet to enter, although as of late she had become slightly better as using her mind to think her urges of inquisitiveness through. True, this usually meant she proceeded to do what she would have done prior to thought, but at least she didn’t just leap into things. Or that’s what she told herself. This time was no exception, the draw of exploring the maze was too great and so she entered with more excitement than fear. ‘It can’t be that bad, can it?’ The grass crunched with every footstep she made, sounding like music of a different language to her Charoda ears. After her first few steps, she became more confident, thinking people had built up the maze too much. ‘It just seems like lots of grass and hedges to me. It even has flowers, how bad can something be with flowers?’ Still, she kept her guard up, despite her biggest threat at the moment being the blazing heat of the sun. She tried to keep in the shade as much as possible, staying close to the hedge borders. She stopped for a moment to rest, when without warning; something grasped her from behind, its hands covering her mouth so she could not scream- though with the force it had exerted on the rest of her body she was sure she would not be able to do this anyway. The light of day quickly drew further and further out of side, as Lliwen was dragged into darkness unknown.

[Misu Aoki]

Garden of No Return... Misu sniffed the ground, his ears flattened. He didn't like this place.

Hedges rose up around him casting wide shadows across the maze. Flowers grew in neat rows but he knew they were just a trick, Misu cautiously walked over to a bright red flower.

He nudged it with his nose. The flowers scent was sickening and there was a high pitched buzzing coming from it. He swatted it from the vine with his paw and trampled it into the ground, the soft petals quickly turned to glowing ambers that left burnt imprints on the grass. Best leave those alone.

Misu's acute hearing picked up the sound of footsteps. They were close, just up ahead. Misu took a few steps forward and stopped when the soft scent of a charoda reached his nose.

He thought it strange that a charoda would be out here alone and in the middle of the day no less.

Misu's hightened senses picked up the presense of... something. It was big and dark and smelt of the earth. The hackles rose on Misu's back. He didn't like it, whatever it was.

[Nas]

Nas had gotten lost........again it was quite some time that this had happened last time was almost forty years ago, he simply took some turns passed a crumbling fence entered a small garden and then a part of that shifted and he was lost it certainly brought back memories. Back then he would go around Alvadas and yet manage to get himself lost despite having his key to get back or being with others he had to admit sometimes he found interesting things this strange garden would have something noteworthy....and maybe safe. Still he had gotten his wish partly for the day, as he found himself in a garden oh i wonder if i can find a couple herbs here looking around he thought a bit about taking herbs and remembered he knew next to nothing about plants. This was trouble perhaps he should leave and come back later still looking around he saw a couple of flowers but he wans't interested in them and some small brown things were stuck in his pants oh glad i am not wearing my robes today wearing normal clothes and not his mask was an advantage for today. As he moved around he swore something seemed off in this park but he couln't place it in words things were strange as always in Alvadas but that was half the fun and charm of the wholle thing.

Hours seemed to have passed when Lliwen’s eyes were greeted by murky darkness. The humidity of wherever she happened to be was overwhelming, and seemed to be clouding her thoughts. How had this happened? She had heard many tales of The Garden of No Return but none like this. To her left she spotted a light in the distance, and decided to head towards it- in this light seeing her own hands was nearly impossible. Cautiously, Lliwen walked towards the illumination noting the strong smell of bark and something else she couldn’t identify. Whatever it was, it was causing her to gag, though after walking for a while her body became almost used to it. As she approached the light, she saw she was in a jungle like area filled with trees, flowers and other plant life she had never seen before. For a few minutes she allowed herself to stop and gaze at the natural works of art. It was true she had viewed fewer plants than most being a Charoda, but she had read a couple of books on them and found them fascinating. One thing did strike her though (after her awe had subsided slightly) how did they photosynthesise in this little light, especially from where she started? ‘Why am I thinking about this? I have no idea where I am, I’ve been dragged into a pit of odd trees, and I have no way of getting out! I should be thinking about more important things than how plants survive in here!’ “Why?” Lliwen jumped around quickly with a high pitched squeal, though nobody appeared to be there. “We plants are very important Lliwen, therefore it is important how we live.” Lliwen’s skin lost the little bit of blue it had, becoming totally white. Something really wasn’t right. “W…who are you?” Lliwen asked, trying to remain calm. She was now cursing herself for coming into the garden at all, why didn’t she just go somewhere like The Crooked Playhouse… She waited a few moments, the only sound her heavy breathing. She wasn’t sure if it was just her imagination, but it seemed to have suddenly gotten a lot mistier, almost a fog. “Show yourself!” Lliwen was determined to sound brave, whoever or whatever was here, she didn’t want it to know she was afraid. Without realising, she had summoned a ball of water in each hand, and was surprised by the wetness, even if it was her that created it, and instinctively threw her hands in front of her to check what was on them, throwing water at a tree in the process. Snapping her head forward as she realised she had hurled water expecting it to hit the tree- yet it didn’t. The two balls of water stopped inches away from the trunk, causing Lliwen to recoil in shock. Her own water then came hurtling towards her, the force stinging her face. The voice spoke again. “I am the spirit of the trees in this area of the tree underworld” “Tree underwhat!?”

[Misu Aoki]

Misu wandered through the maze, he took every step with caution not knowing what was around the next turn.

He stopped and sniffed the air again; the scent of the Charoda had all but vanished which made Misu worry.

The wolf turned the corner; standing a ways off was a cloaked figure. Misu crouched down and remained as silent as possible. Who was this person and what were their intentions?

Misu waited to see what the figures next move would be.

[Nas]

Nas looked around to no avail it seemed like he had entered an illusion he heard once upon a time about a garden he shouln't enter perhaps this was it?. Nontheless he needed to get out looking around he saw flowers and the hedge as he walked a bit around there and just got outisde on his left he saw some strange vines, he stayed away for a bit till he noted something shining over there hrm what is that going closer to pick whatever was there Nas swore something moved at the vines. Perhaps not such a good idea with this thought he took a step back before he started walking in the maze of this place as it shifted each time he took a turn he returned back to the same spot with the vines for some reason and the shining object seemed to shine some more before vanishing on the spot well that was strange did something happen in this mazze?.
