Elem was surely staring. Not at Caehli, as he probably should have been, but rather the way the moonlight played on the water. Euphoria tickled his soul as he felt her slide next to him on the bench. He could see the red light of the Watchtower illuminating the sky as she explained the spontanaeity and adventure of traveling. "I guess you are right. Of course, you don't get killed by bandits or monsters the Watchtower route." It made sense to him.
All of a sudden, Caehli was whispering his name. He turned his head to her to find her most appealing. Her lips seemed moist, her eyes clear and beautiful. She seemed to be looking through him or, at the very least, had something very important to impart to him. Before he knew it, her hands were on his collar, pulling his head close. He smiled, suspecting a kiss was coming, so he closed his eyes.
But then, nothing? Wait, here she went.
No? His eyes snapped open to find her lovely face so close, her breath rich with grapes.
"Well, I want to kiss you.."
He smiled again, his arms sliding around her. He chuckled slightly. " I thought so." He then melted into her own lips, their eyes closing and the warmth of the first kiss enveloping them in its own glowing, red hue.
