That grin of insanity never wavered, always taunting and laughing. His eyes filled with wild insanity drove into hers. And she couldn’t escape. As he began to speak to her, she listened, steeling her heart and let each of his vile words coax her growing rage.
… and Xi no man. He's a broken husk of a man. He’s lying. Kill him, her mind whispered.
And yet you’re the one unable to act. Kill him.
You’re the one pinned to the submissive state. Kill him.
Kill him. Kill him. Kill him!
You can’t attack me without harming Xi. That fact almost didn’t matter anymore. She wanted him off of her and she wanted him dead. She wanted to rip him apart. She wanted to taste his blood. She would not submit to him.
As she squirmed underneath him, feeling for a chance to counter him, she felt his weight fall on her, pressing her deep into the mattress. Skin on skin, she could felt him, every part of him. She knew it was the same for him. Liro pressed against her chest, restricting her air. If she wasn’t so enraged, she would have thought of this as a very sensual moment, but right now, those thoughts were the farthest ones from her conscious. As he slid against her, she grabbed the sheets and balled her hands into tight fists. Then he began to speak again.
You despite being a kelvic, are weak, unless you shift.
Even then, your powerful wolf form was vanquished by the strength of a human.
How does it feel to know that it's not only your human side that is weak ?
That you are powerless?
Lies! Kill him!
But even though she didn’t want to admit it, he was right. She couldn’t move. His weight was to overbearing. Her eyes burned with liquid golden fire burned into his and her fingernails dug into her palms as he pulled ever closer. Now, the stubble of his chin lightly brushed her lips. He was teasing her, trying to break her, but it wasn’t going to happen. Unbreakable, it was the one thing they both had in common.
She braced herself for his next round of words when she realized he was saying good bye. Did that mean Xi would come back? No. She didn’t get a chance to fight back yet. He couldn’t degrade her then disappear. But he did, just he magical appeared, he magically vanished. All at once, Liro’s wicked smiled faded with the lunacy in his eyes. And Xi was left.
For a few moments, she could tell he had no recognition, like his whole mind set was recalculating. But then he came to life and so did the color in his cheeks. She’d imagine that his position over her was surprising but she was even more surprised that he didn’t remember anything. He reared back and she began to breathe again though it was slightly labored.
He apologized and asked what happen. What happened? How could she tell him? She imagined her eyes that still glowed with fire could tell him a lot. Still before she could say anything she had to stand, so she got to her feet. Just that simple motion and knowing that she was free calmed her nerves slightly. But even though he could change emotions in a few seconds, she could not. Her rage still ripped at her mind. Still she had the urge to kill him. She spoke before she thought, canines exposed.
“This isn’t over, I swear. Next time he comes out to play I’ll show him who’s weak and I’ll show him that I’m not the one that’s going to submit. He will!” she paused for a second and exhaled a small growl then inhaled again.
