Winter 35, 512 AV, North Suvan Sea
The Mako sailed silently beneath the rising moon. It has been awhile since Belik's tuvan the Drifter had shot off from the small ship. Whatever, had caught the shark's interest had clearly sailed off by the time Belik has arrived. Now his travels had taken him deeper into the sea. The open water made for a heartier feast if he could catch it. Deep ocean fish and sea ferrying birds he thought, best when they were available. However, he still had a few days worth of fish on board that would last him.
Sitting on a stool he gazed at the stars above him. In particular, the North star was vital when navigating on open sea. It shone brightly in the sky and he followed intently. He was hoping to find land but, more so a new pod. Even, the greatest of Svefra sailors required a pod to survive yet, he had no luck in finding one since he left his orignal cast weeks ago.
Bringing his hand to his bread he stroke in a small amount of frustration. he knew he couldn't go about wandering on his own. The Drifter was good company and protected his ship but, there were worse creatures lurking in the sea. The tale he planned to weave for himself, would end in folly if, he became a sea creature's dinner. Imagine it...every Lia who dwells this sea, will tell their pods tales of "Belik Chumbait", as a lesson to never wander the sea alone he thought to himself.
He looked over board as the a glare from the moon tickled the wide sea. No sign of pirates, predators, or of storms...yet. Just the Drifter's fin gliding in and out of the sea. He walked over to the casinor's edge and smiled.
"Well old friend, I think if you would have ate me along time ago, if you didnt like me so much that is" said Belik. The shark sank and a ripple hit the edge of the ship. The Drifter agreed with Belik!
Belik returned to the helm of his ship and stirred it southwest. It may have been something in his gut that was leading him this way. "Lets see, if I dont find some life good or bad, if I follow this way. Laviku preserve me if I do run astray".
The Mako glided silently with Belik's tuvan beside it.
