] 23rd Winter 512AV Vaspira walked out of the Shrine of Navre feeling joyful, but still very much so empty. She hoped the residents would not mind her choice of clothing. She could not stand clothes at all, so she wore only her mothers bladed cloak buttoned so that it covered up all her private ares. The chilled wind bit into her exposed flesh, leaving Vaspira shuddering from the cold. As she wounded around she saw something quite amazing. Crystal Spiders were migrating what looked to be south. They were beautiful, a creature that Vaspira had never seen before. The moonlight glistened off their crystal like skin, and they glimmered like stars as they moved. They looked like moving stars in The Spire. Vaspira gasped as she watched the lovely spiders migration and how they stayed as a unit, as a team, working together to reach a common goal. Tears formed in Vaspira's eyes at the beautiful sight. That must be what it is like to have a family, or at the very least friends who care.Vaspira said to herself wiping the escaping tears off of her face. She was not going to start the self pity crap again, she had enough of that already. Vaspira inhaled deeply and vanished the feelings of sadness and longing. She tried to make the sadness from her face disappear, but she could tell that was not going to happen. Vaspira sighed and sat down on the ground as she watched the beautiful spiders leave, going on a journey in search for a new home. Much like Vaspira was about to do herself. Thank you Navre for the sign.. I know what I must do now. Vaspira whispered to the wind. She had never been a religious person or believed in any higher power. But she felt like her feelings on that matter was about to change drastically. Vaspira shook her head to clear her sporadic thoughts and focused once again on the Crystal Spiders migration lonely, shuddering from the cold and wiping her ice feeling nose every few minutes. |
