Hey everyone, my name is Zach in the real world. I am new to Mizahar and have spent the past three or four days making, deleting, and remaking my character. After making a Drykan Human outcast to and Inarta man that makes a living off of hunting, and discarding both of those ideas, I have finally settled on the Charoda, Sers Yisa.
I know very little about this world to be honest, and I noticed several things are still not finished (Such as the Charodae's Main City), but I am quite anxious to get started. I guess that's all I've got to say for now, but I hope I see and roleplay with many of you soon enough.

My name is Zachary, but Zach is fine, or even my character name will work.
I have been roleplaying for a decade perhaps, starting on an old game called 'Dragon Court', and thanks to my buddy who never failed to show me up. Sadly, he doesn't rp anymore. I did that for a few months and off and on I continued roleplay throughout the years (more on than off) and spent a large portion of that time on Gaiaonline, which was actually 'Gogaia' I think when I first joined it. Within the past few months I stumbled across forum roleplay, and have joined several sites, though dropped most because they are more geared towards 'training' and 'combat'. The character interaction was poor and rare. Others were just disorganized or didn't have members that were active enough to actually roleplay with for more than two straight hours, and from what I've seen, this site is just what I am looking for. I found Mizahar on google, actually searching for just such a place, and I can tell by just how much effort has been put into this that it is very well done. Fantasy has always been one of my favored styles/genres because it's limitations are few, yet the world isn't (or at least shouldn't be) completely absurd. I've recently picked up writing and I have always loved reading (Frank Herbert's Dune might be my favorite), but I still have a long ways to go before publishing is available. Currently I roleplay simply because I love it, I have plenty of time for it, and it helps get my creative juices flowing while keeping me thinking of plots and story lines.
The things I found about Mizahar that I love is its separation from the stereotypical fantasy (elves, dwarfs, orcs) and even has sub races of humans, which is logical and original. I also like that the story has room for every character, type of character, and character's plots and schemes, while not being dominated entirely by one sole person. And for the cons, I have little to mention, except that I'm a little confused at where, when, and how to begin. I know certain mods are needed for certain threads, but I am unsure if I can just up and make one, and/or if it will even get any attention at all from others. I assume time will tell. And of course, that some parts aren't finished, but I can't blame anyone for that after seeing just how much work has already been done, and the quality that it is.
At this time I have little more expectations than an amazing time rolaplying with Mizahar, and to maybe bring about some sort of Charoda popularity (it seems to me that very few actually chose the race) via Sers Yisa, but at this time I am quite unsure as to how.
Anyway, again, I think that's about it from me.
