Taloba, home to the Myrians, is the thriving core of Falyndar. Inhabited by a fierce and savage tribe where blood sacrifices are normal and a way of life, they are untamed and proud of it. Warlike, and with their numbers growing, the Myrians are set on reclaiming what is rightfully theirs. [Lore]

The Bloody Needle

The Bloody Needle is a tattoo parlor found just outside of the Trading Square down a narrow heavily trodden path. It is built within the ruins of a strangler fig whose host has long since rotted away, and the wooden walls that are not part of the great tree are entirely covered with moss. The entryway is knuckle bones strung in long chords to alert the occupants of entry.

There is a great amount of fuss about Kazuul, the tattoo artist, not being part of the general tattoo stalls, but no one can doubt his skill, and his placement off the beaten path probably gains him more customers rather than less. There is a lot of bad blood between him and the other artists, and for this reason, or perhaps a plethora of others, generally the Myrian keeps to himself.

PoB:Taloba
Title: Tattooist
Skills: Longbow 60, Philtering 45, Stealth 60, Tattooing 85
Gnosis: 2 Myri

Kazuul was always a stubborn individual, though silent and always keeping his opinions to himself, he refused to accept his lesser status as a male within the Myrian race and departed from the city at a relatively early age, returning nearly three decades later with Lily and an extremely potent skill with tattooing. He is closed lipped about his stories, but it is clear the Myrian has traveled the width and breadth of Mizahar just by the furnishings in his small tattoo parlor. The stone chest in which he keeps most of his equipment is fashioned with a most intricate gold lock system that if asked he said he got from Wind Reach, and there are a myriad of foreign skulls humanoid and monstrous lining the walls of his establishment. Despite his status as one of (if not the) best tattoo artist in all of Taloba, Kazuul has very few tattoos on himself. There is one set across his back however, a brilliant landscape of icy tundra that melts into the lush landscapes of Falyndar that Kazuul shows off whenever he can. He does not say who gave it to him, and only admits that he would not get a tattoo from anyone who had less skill than him with a needle.

Name: Lily
Race: Kelvic
DoB: 510 AV, 3
PoB: The Jungle Wilds
Title: Body Guard of the Bloody Needle
Skills: Observation 50, Stealth 50, Unarmed Combat 70, Vocal Mimicry 40
Gnosis: Myri 1

Lily is a Kelvic Tent Making Bat that bonded to Kazuul a year ago. She is a wily and eccentric creature who rarely ever wears clothes unless its a leather cloak she can wrap around herself in the daytime hours, in which she despises to be awake. Generally when one sees her it is in human form, for her bat form is tucked away in some dark cranny, she will be curled up in a ball. Her ears and nose are rather prominent large things, with beady black eyes, yet her petite figure has drawn the attention of more than one Myrian male or female. Kazuul and Lily participate in a wonderfully carnal time with each other, and each is supremely protective of the other. At night Lily Guards the store, and woe to the fool that tries to sneak in and steal some of Kazuul's hard won trophies.

Rates
Kazuul rarely accepts any clientele that he has not heard of. One of his favorite sayings is "Unless Myri knows of you, you do not deserve my work." And he holds by this statement even when rather large quantities of money are offered.

Once you have his attention however, Kazuul generally charges 8 GM per hour and is known to occasionally ask for a story from someone before giving them a tattoo and even more rarely, give his art away for free with a sworn promise that the recipient won't tell anyone of the gift.

Getting one's first tattoo from Kazuul requires moderation, after the first none is required.
