Midnight struck and Kayle is at the tavern. His eyes have trouble focusing, and his balacnce is far from steady. His face is pink and flustered as he tilts his head, as if he was examining something on the wooden post in front of him. Taking a sip from his cup, he hiccups and began eyeing the wooden beam.

“You… DO you think you are! Serving my water that taste like PISS! If- if- if I every catch you pissing in me mug, I’m gonna flog you over the head… with my face!” Kayle said to the wooden post with a slurred voice, trying to keep steady.

Kayle wasn’t drunk on purpose, in fact ordered water, not ale. After very long day training at Sunset Falls, he felt extremely thirsty, so he came to the Rearing Stallion for a cup of water. However, his order got mixed up and he got someone’s ale. When the waitress realised her mistake and came back to retrieve the alcohol, it was too late… He already took a sip.

“huh…? Who’s this, your sister? I can tell, you both look UGLY as hell! Hahah!” He laughed as he looks over his shoulder, seeing another wooden post before chugging down his pitcher of ale.
“Bring me another! Tonight we live! Hahah!” he yells in a cheery drink tone!

Kayle’s drunk personality has awoken.

"Kindness is the weapon I wield. It's sharper, stronger and more powerful than any blade, and it penetrates someone's heart better than any arrow. it's power doesn't only come from the wielder, but from the hearts of many as well. Kindness isn't a weapon that should be taken lightly."

Tonight we live! [The Rearing Stallion]

Postby Yori on February 18th, 2013, 6:20 pm

Not everyone in the tavern was looking to drink their merry little selves into a stupor tonight, believe it or not. For the older man, Half-Isur if it meant anything to you, tonight was just him, after a long day of labor and toil in the Metalworks. He sat at his own table alone, gnawing slowly on a thick lamb stew. His eyes, however, were locked stiffly on one particular drunk in the room. Kayle. He seemed to be balls-deep in his personal merriment, drinking ales and beers like it was impossible to get sick. And as young as he was, Yori was almost certain he would be sick. Tomorrow, Kayle's head would feel less pain if it was used as Yori's anvil in the smith, compared to the pain he was surely to have.

Yori continued to eat alone, one spoonful at a time, occasionally reaching for his own mug of beer to wash down whatever mouthful tried to coagulate in his mouth. Yori, however, had no intentions of getting drunk. His youthful exciting days were behind him. He was a few years beyond forty, and his body he found out didn't recover quite as quickly as it did before.

Yes, he must have been young and stupid. Yori had more than his fair share of drunken nights and meaningless morning illness from it, but never had he been so far gone that he thought posts were people, or chairs were animals, or anything that wasn't alive to be so. Yori shook his head slowly in disappointment and considered escorting the young man home. There might have been an off-duty knight or two here tonight, which meant Kayle might get in trouble if he did something too foolish.

No, Yori would mind his own busy. As long as the drunk left him be, he would return the favor. Yori consumed the final spoonful of the thick stew, pushed the bowl away from him, and took a hold of his own drink. An hour of rest or so, and he'd head home himself for some sleep.
