The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Season of Winter, Day 25, 513 AV

Evalynn returns to her lonesome home, along the outskirts of the city, and spies a note nailed to her wooden door by a knife that looks oddly familiar. She carefully creeps up to it, scanning the ground and surroundings for any traps or life. When she reaches her door she skims over the note and gasps. With a snarl she snatches the note off the door and walks inside. She tosses down an empty sack in anger and walks to her small bedroom. Her eyes scan the area in search for anything that could be of use in trapping her dinner later tonight, so far nothing. She rummages through her drawers and under her bed, but comes up with nothing. After hours of turning her home upside down she finds her last bit of rope and grins to herself.

"Phew, that took longer than I expected. And it was all for about six feet of rope, what a waste of time." she tossed it on her bed and went to gather more materials, deciding to take a little trip instead of hanging around Lhavit the rest of her life. She gathered everything she needed, clothes, water, the rest of her food, the rope, a small knife, flint and steel, toiletries, and her Grandfather's cloak. She packed everything in her bag and pulled on the cloak, giving a relaxed sigh as it soothed her. The cloak was once owned by her Grandfather, on her fathers side, who was a well known monk in Nyka. Her father had told her that he had fallen ill and died the year she was born, and that he gave her the cloak he always wore everywhere.

Now, after many years, the feel of the soft leather against her skin felt like heaven. She gave herself a moment to mourn, something she rarely did, before packing up and leaving. She went to close the door and noticed the knife still there. She eyed it cautiously before yanking it out the door and putting it in her bag. She sighed as she closed the door and, with weary eyes, gazed upon her former home with a destination set in her head. She turned on her heel and left for Nyka, never to look back at Lhavit.
