Spider VS Rabbit (Rabbit)

Postby Vladimir Balsam on April 7th, 2013, 10:19 pm

Was that rabbit going to run right into me? Oh I hope not. Vladimir thought to himself as he watched the Rabbit come towards him and go right under and through his legs. Well that close, Vladimir thought for sure that the Rabbit was going to sweep him right off of his feet. Vladimir then turned and watched as Rabbit ran a bit father away and then stopped and yelled at him.

"Come join me outside on this magnificent day!"

I looked around us to see what I could use as my advantage and since I haven’t seen the Rabbit use his whip, I seen no reason to take out my bow and arrow, although I am pretty sure that his whip would hurt just as much but I was glad this was just being hands on … I liked it much better.

PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT’S GOING ON! Vladimir’s mind once again reminded him. Sometimes he was easily distracted which he could now understand why fighting wasn’t something that he did very often or was good at.

Vladimir than looked again around at his surroundings. Vladimir looked at Rabbit and then looked back and then back at Rabbit again. There was some boxes off to the side that kinda of went up the side of a building like steps. Could I use that to my advantage? Vladimir thought to himself, trying not to take too long as he didn’t want Rabbit to get bored and leave. He could use the boxes to run up and leap down on the Rabbit, but he would have to make sure that the Rabbit didn’t know what he was doing and Rabbit seemed to be pretty observant also. Also he had to put in about his hurt wrist. Vladimir was trying to work out the best way to do this, and somehow he was just coming up with blanks. If he could get close enough to Rabbit he could bite him with his fangs and poison but then that could possibly kill him so that would be out of the question because he doesn’t want to do that. Hoping that maybe they could be aquaintences or something after this and not straight out enemies.

Vladimir was stunned at the moment. This being his first and only fight he didn’t want to look so much like a Newbie, so Vladimir decided to run very fast past the Rabbit and poke him really hard in the ribs and then put a good distance between them. Hoping that he might have hurt the Rabbit a little bit, if not, well he had a couple of seconds to think of his next move.

Spider VS Rabbit (Rabbit)

Seeing his opponent running straight at him, slightly to the left, Rabbit smiled slightly. It left him with the perfect opportunity... He rolled to the other direction, evading the outstretched arm of Vladimir, and retaliate, again kicking with his hind legs as it sailed past. The objective had been to break this arm as well, but sadly it failed. His rolling planted him too far to the side, and this was happening at such speed that by the time he kicked, his adversary was already a meter away. Turning around again, quickly, the Pycon grinned and decided to try another tactic. Carefully watching the figure ahead of him, he loped slightly further, closing the distance between them, but not enough to make his target run away. Once they were about a meter apart, Rabbit leaped high into the air, pushing off the ground with his back paws and though looking like he was aiming to land on the Symenestra's head, swerved at the last second and aimed a kick at Vladimir's upper-chest. As he kicked, he forced his legs to grow slightly longer to reach his opponent's chest. He forced his legs to push as hard as possible, and slammed them into the flat surface the body provided.

Landing, he skidded to a stop, one paw on the ground, mouth curled into a malicious grin. He stood upright and mock brushed himself off, just to show how little this meant to him. But really, this battle was very fun, and a little bit of a challenge. As a Pycon, he didn't have much of a range, which was what he used the py-whip for. It brought opponents down to his level.

Spider VS Rabbit (Rabbit)

Postby Vladimir Balsam on April 8th, 2013, 11:48 pm

That hit from Rabbit knocked the wind out of Vladimir for sure and now his chest was hurting.

That was a pretty good hit. This Rabbit is tougher than he looks or I am just not that good, but probably a little bit of both; Vladimir thought to himself.
Looking around he tried to see what was around him that could be useful.
He wasn't going to admit defeat already, he still wanted to go for more even though his elbow and chest was hurting a good deal now, but he knew that the fight wasn't completely over yet.

He was still eyeing up those boxes wondering if he could use them or not, without Rabbit seeing him. It would be hard to run now as his chest was hurting pretty good. Vladimir slowly got up holding his hand to his chest. it was hurting ... Vladimir looked away at Rabbit and looked at what he could possibly do. He wouldn't be able to run quite as fast with his chest hurting like this but there had to be something that he could do. Vladimir sighed to himself and then started thinking on how he could do this.

Rabbit was a challenge and Vladimir liked that very much. This was all new to him and he was learning quite a bit. Vladimir looked around again to see what was possible that he could do. If he ran at Rabbit again he knew that he would just get kicked and or pushed over again.

Vladimir noticed that there was a short wall about 4 feet to his right. That should be too hard to scale. Vladimir slowly walked over to the wall and started to climb it. He reached the top and then looked at Rabbit below him. Now he could take a breather for a couple of minutes and think about what he was going to do. The scale up the wall had taken a little bit longer than he would have liked but he made it up there. His elbow hurted quite a bit now, he put too much strain on it while climbing up the wall. His chest was feeling a little bit better, but he knew that his elbow was probably broken and he would have to go and get it checked after this battle. Vladimir sighed once again.

Vladimir then decided that he was going to have to be super sneaky and cautious on his next move. Vladimir slowly walked across the wall and moved over closer to Rabbit... What he was going to do next he wasn't sure. Vladimir decided that he would jump down and attack Rabbit from behind, and if he timed it right it should work out fine. One ... Two ... Three ... WAIT!

Landing probably wasn't going to be very smooth and his chest was already hurting pretty bad still, but he didn't have much choice, even though the landing wouldn't be too soft, he had to at least get another attack in before he admitted defeat. One ... Two ... Three ... Jump ... Vladimir jumped down and knocked Rabbit over from behind, hoping that if he didn’t hurt him he at least knocked the wind out of him. Vladimir than made some distance between Rabbit and himself before looking to see what Rabbit’s next move was going to be.

Spider VS Rabbit (Rabbit)

Rabbit, having watched from a slight distance as Vladimir was on the wall, rolled backwards as the Symenestra sent a kick at his chest. Doing a backwards somersault was annoying in the least, especially in a rabbit's body, but he didn't have much choice. Because of this challenging maneuver, he moved slowly, and the last bit what actually accelerated by the blow. This kick didn't hurt much, since all it did was push him more into the roll, actually helping him complete it.

Standing up, irritated, the Pycon glared at the man before him. Just using py-ken was getting annoying, just because of the complete lack of range. He was starting to get the sense it wasn't hugely useful, except in pairing with his whip. That enabled him to bring his opponents down to size before beating them. Deciding to give up on this useless style of fighting, he moved to grab his whip again.

Just before starting, Rabbit realized that the best course of action would be to hide that he was carrying the weapon in the first place, to surprise his spry enemy. Stretching his arms forward and backward, and hopping lightly, he created the image of readying himself again for the fight. In secret, when his hand touched his back, he enlarged the paws slightly, and hid the tightly coiled whip in one of them. Stopping his movement, he checked, out of the corner of his eyes, to see if the py-whip was properly hidden. Not even able to see it from his distance, he was assured that Vladimir couldn't either. When the time was right, he'd bring it out and send the Symenestra toppling to the ground.

Standing in what seemed like a relaxed position, the Pycon smiled at the figure before him, inviting him to attack again. This time, when the man bent down to hit him, he would find himself off balance... then strangely on the floor. The humor involved in this made Rabbit's smile bigger and genuine, and he had to stop himself from laughing. The battle would end soon, if all went according to his plan. Which it would, of course. The temptation to laugh evilly increased even more, but he continued to resist, to keep up his face. He didn't want to ruin the trick now...

Spider VS Rabbit (Rabbit)

Postby Vladimir Balsam on April 15th, 2013, 12:24 pm

((sorry that I haven’t been on lately … I was doing some stuff with my family, but I should be back full time now. Sorry for the inconvience))

Vladimir seen that his attempt at attacking didn’t work quite as he planned but it did have some effect on the rabbit but not as much as he would have liked. He didn’t have much of a chance now, even an inexperienced fighter could tell this was over. And probably an experienced fighter wouldn’t have kept fighting for as long as he was, but here he was, he wanted to fight and now he was paying the price. Vladimir decided that his only chance now was to run at the rabbit, seeing as his legs seemd to be the only part of him that was not hurting. Vladimir looked all around and sadly seen no other choice. Vladimir took a deep breath and started running towards the rabbit. Maybe he could knock him over and to the ground and maybe he could do just a little bit of damage before this fight was completely over. He didn’t want to die, but he wanted to do some damage at – least.

Rabbit felt that this was an excellent time to attack with his whip, since all he needed was to grab a leg, then the Symenestra would fall! An almost undetectable grin touched his features, as he clasped his hands together, and waited for Vladimir to near. It would be so simple, and easy.

When the man finally got within reach, the Pycon adjusted his grip on the whip with both hands, and flicked his wrists with force, launching the leather end towards his adversary's ankle. After he saw the leather wrap around the Symenestra's left ankle, he heaved back on his side, intending to send the man either crashing down, or at least into an awkward split. He grinned widely, content with winning like this.

Rabbit wasn't quite sure what he would do after Vladimir hit the ground, since he didn't feel like knocking him out. There was no reason to, and no money in it for him either. He sighed slightly, having not decided yet. Maybe he would just stand back, hope the man hurt himself enough falling, and boast about his victory. The Symenestra was annoying in the least, his way of fighting stupid and it a slightly awkward offensive. It got on his nerves just watching it... completely pointless in his opinion.

Spider VS Rabbit (Rabbit)

Postby Vladimir Balsam on April 16th, 2013, 3:54 pm

Vladimir had fallen straight down to the ground and harder than he expected that he was going to fall. He knew now that he had been beat. He slowly got up to his feet, which took a lot of his strength, and looked over to where Rabbit was standing. “This was a great fight and I thank you very much for the experience!” I said to him as I slowly started to walk away to show that he had won the fight. The match was finally over.

Rabbit looked at the man before him with slight doubt, amazed that the Symenestra had accepted defeat so easily. Sure, it was what he was hoping for, but... really? He shrugged, denoting the convenient action on the man's stupidity. Though it had been against a strange opponent, with no real profit, the Pycon felt accomplished, and content with that battle. He was done for the day...

He raised a hand in farewell, and replaced the whip on his back. The little creature turned around and hopped away on all fours, content with what he had done. His lope was slow and steady, though as he moved away the pace quickened. It wasn't that he wanted to get away, but that he didn't feel hugely exhausted for some strange reason, and decided that some running practice was in order. He leaped forward in huge bounds now, taking in a few feet with each jump. Rabbit was moving about as fast as an average human could jog now, but for him this was sprinting. He continued this movement through the streets of Nyka, working his way home.

Back in an abandoned alley, he suddenly tripped and fell, feeling a throbbing pain in his front paw. Looking back, he realized there was a paving stone that stuck up slightly, which had stopped his movement. Rabbit grumbled slightly, and continued at a slower pace, limping slightly. He should have been concentrating more...
