Trialing The Opposites

Postby Luradin on April 4th, 2013, 11:35 pm

80th Spring 513 AV

"Try not to crush me" Luradin said with a mixture of serenity and jollity as he looked up at his hulking friend. His hands were ready at his chest and he bobbed up and down thoughts of tactics and victory surging through his head as a psychological preparation for his battle - even though it was no one of large severity.

With a deep signalling breath he clenched his hands into fists and felt primal state-of-mind take a hold as he lunged forwards on the balls of his feet. He went from side to side as he moved and then sprang like a jackal into the air. With a flourishing motion he contorted his body into a spin, gathering force as limbs dragged air around his body and created a sort of rushing around him. Centrifugal force build up and Luradin aimed a punch into the softer part of the Jamoura's neck.

Luradin's mind was beginning to train itself to think ahead and he had already prepared his landing behind the Jamoura, followed by a roll to increase range between the two combatants.

Trialing The Opposits

Postby Gruul on April 4th, 2013, 11:48 pm

"I've been waiting for a bit of fun. Heh' heh'." Gruul said behind a mixture of chuckles and huffs. He clapped his giant hands together a loud sound echoing through the area around the two. Hunching his body down in to a rather relaxed fashion, as one might do when meditating or in deep thought, and for the first time felt a little nervous, not exactly afraid but waiting in anticipation to see what this little creature could do, either way this was new to him and he was excited to train a bit more. A smug smile was present on the ape's face, almost patronising in it's way, and there he waited for the Fish to attack.

When Luradin came flipping towards him, there Gruul waited, untill the last moment where he quickely strafed left-ways so as the Fish instead tried to punch his shoulder, quickly following up his straif with a swing of his giant left arm to try and take grips of the flippent sea-creatures body, not aiming for anywhere in paticuler.

Trialing The Opposits

Postby Luradin on April 4th, 2013, 11:59 pm

As the massive gorilla's hand came into view of Luradin's huge unblinking eyes he reacted less gracefully than he would have wanted to. He quite staggeringly dodged his body backwards, his spine effectively bending at every disc to move his torso from the vice-like grip of the monkey.

With a simple acrobatic practice Luradin pushed both hands onto the knuckles of the gorilla and lifted his body over it, he immediately lifted his hands from the furry arm and let his body roll smoothly down it. As he slid down to the bend in the beasts arm he brought his body to a stop with a foot to it's bicep and twisted, sending out a kick.

The kick was weak, quite frankly. Though Luradin had a more toned body than some and good co-ordination he had no un-armed combat and even a kick to the lower part of the gorillas stomach seemed futile, but it would have to do.

Luradin didn't know much about these 'Jamoura' creatures and he had to simply stay out of the way of his strikes until he learned more. This massive creature could probably destroy him with only a few strikes.

Trialing The Opposits

The Gorilla quickly shifted his knuckle downwards upon Luradin using Gruul as his own living gymnasium, slamming his knuckle to the floor and retaining his stature of meditation. He followed with his watchful eyes as the Charoda used its webbed feet to bounce it's self off the large ape's body, and the moment the two feet met Gruul, he slammed his knuckles together to try and snag the Charoda's ancles, and take a awkward grip of the pour sea-creatures tiny body.

However, once his knuckles met together, he instantly swung his arms upwards, following up his initial motion with this fearsome swing, to try and sweep the Charoda up like a volley ball, and hopefully send it flying high in to the air.

Trialing The Opposites

Postby Luradin on April 5th, 2013, 12:22 am

Luradin was caught quite off-guard as he started sliding down the gorilla's arm but he still managed to connect the kick and used it to try and escape the plan of Gruul. As he was about to place his hands to the ground his legs were send over his center of mass and as a result his hands did not quite touch the ground. With the force of his spinning Luradin was not able to stay focused on his direction, only shield himself as he smacked into the floor with one arm flailed out.

He quickly rotated his body to face Gruul and sent his hands to the floor. Drawing his feet in Luradin put himself into a strange sort of crab position, most of his weight positioned more over his hands against the ground.

Luradin watched the large beast closely and breathed deeply in an attempt to get his breath back before the beast came, after thinking it through Luradin also justified this action as the beast seemed quite slow to respond - perhaps this was his chance to see something he could use against the beast.

Either way, Luradin was braced for whatever strange but amazingly powerful attack his opponent would come up with next.

Trialing The Opposites

Gruul didn't hesitate to initiate his next attack, with a simple movement of his arms, he placed his hands either side of him, his body still hunched to a height of 5ft3, using his massive strength, he pushed his lefs of the ground, and used the strength of his arms combined with the power of his feet to send himself flying feet first at the pour little fish creature, moving with his back faced to the ground, and moving towards the front of the Charoda in some sort of drop-kick, accept coming at the fish at a extremely high rate. Gruul had already planned what he was going to do three minutes ago, and he was ready for any kind of counter attack or dodge, atleast that is what he had thought.

Trialing The Opposites

Postby Luradin on April 5th, 2013, 12:39 am

With the weight on his hands, Luradin could shift his body over them with a measure of speed and with a push of his arms he skidded backwards from the attack the gorilla had sent at him.

Luradin saw that the gorilla's entire weight was behind the attack and made a split-second judgement. Springing from the ground towards the flying gorilla Luradin sent his body towards the creature's face, only a few feet between their two air born bodies.

Drawing back his foot, Luradin let his hand drift down towards it with a wave-like action down to one side. As Djed flowed through his body to this leg, Luradin looked entirely normal - his body was on a course to meet The Jamoura face to foot. Flux to flesh. With too much confidence Luradin confided in this one strike and let his body fall down with it.

Trialing The Opposites

Postby Gruul on April 5th, 2013, 7:40 am

Upon seeing Luradin fire himself like a missile towards Gruul, the aerial primate had no choice but to contort his body in a left turn, as as to use his right arm to block his face from being completely exposed to the flying fish.
He had no choice but to then slam himself in to the ground face first, and using the momentum he had put himself in to roll into a similar stance as before.

He slammed his fists off the ground to find grip, and once again hunched in his state of dormancy, hands placed against the ground and his body hunched back to that 5ft3.

There he waited patiently and calmly, once again matching together possible outcomes in his head, far before they where to take place. Slowly preparing himself for the next onslaught of attacks coming his or maybe Luradin's way.

Trialing The Opposites

Postby Luradin on April 5th, 2013, 12:58 pm

As Luradin kicked the large thing's arm he clenched his face in anger at the fact he'd missed but also at the slight pain of the kick.

His shin flexed backwards very slightly as it connected to the muscle mass of the forearm of gruul though thankfully his shock-absorbent 'bones' made the effects on his skeletal structure less than it could have been.

With the force of the kick to his arm, Luradin felt slightly more confident to see the large creature's body disrupted and sent face-first into the floor - he was unsure of the damage to the creatures arm at this point though.

Luradin made the landing like a breath, his chest and arms were raised from air resistance as his legs were straight baring the balls of his feet to the ground he was approaching. His feet fell against the earth and instantly softened his fall with the flattening of his foot, his legs like-wise bowed under the force and the fingertips of one hand to the floor for balance.

His leg had a burning, buzzing feeling in it that spread throughout his thigh mainly - it was a sign of damage that asked for more power and more use in the battle yet. Luradin felt compelled to cause more pain to his muscles but shook the thought aside, focusing on his large opponent once again.

Trialing The Opposites

Postby Gruul on April 5th, 2013, 1:10 pm

Gruul stood there for about thirty seconds, his mouth once again forming in to a smirk, the Gorillas usual grumpy visage contorting in to a smug look. Gruul rolled his shoulders back and once again using the massive strength of his arms rolled forward at a extremely high rate, using his forearm to block his head from taking damage under the heavy weight of the ape. Once the roll finished, due to the momentum and shape the Jamoura had put himself in whilst rolling, he was able to roll on to his feet, and standing there at a massive 8ft3, he swung his arms in a X like motion to try and swipe at Luradin's head, and send him flying back if managing to hit him.

After this display, Gruul was instantly able to take battle stance, his knuckled locked against the ground like magnet to iron and his eyes focused on where ever Luradin happened to be, having once again prepared his strategy in mind. Gruul felt ready for any attack his little opponent had to throw at him.
