The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Strolling along the trail

Spring 42, 513 AV

Kaendas had been in Lhavit for a couple of weeks now, and between moving into his new home and working his brand new job, he hadn't had much time to catch a breather and actually get to know his new surroundings. But today, much to his satisfaction, his schedule was completely blank and free to fill in with whatever he chose to do. He inhaled the fresh air as he allowed the playful sounds of the creeks and waterfalls to ease up his mind. So far, exploring the so called trail of waterfalls wasn't something he regretted, a relaxing activity he already planned to repeat regularly if time allowed it. He had chosen well.
He caught himself stopping multiple times along the well-maintained trail to look around for a moment, simply admiring the vigor of spring in full effect. Although not yet in full blossom, the occasional outburst of colorful new bloomers along the otherwise bland, brown and dark-green hues gave a pleasant effect to the entire scene. Most of the flora Kaendas could not name, with the exception of the blue Jasao plant of course. Which was considered to be more of a weed than an actual flower to most people. Kaendas found it hard to disagree with that claim since it was real hard to find a spot where the small blue buds did not sprout out of the ground in big numbers.

Despite the undeniable allure of the flora, this wasn't the foremost reason for him to be here. He had been informed about the nearby Rainbow Falls, a supposedly good fishing spot which was the true reason for the human to walk this trail. It had been some time since he had tasted a fine piece of salmon or trout, and the mention of this place had made his mouth water. A silly idea, perhaps, because buying a fish from the market would've been the more obvious choice for most folks. But store bought fish was not good enough for a proud Zeltivan like Kaendas. No, when it came to fish there was nothing better than catching and preparing one yourself. This had always been a thing in his family, a matter of pride to some extent.

There wasn't a chance that a freshly caught trout would find its way to his table today though, unless he was planning to catch one with his bare hands. He had yet to purchase a new set of equipment so today's plans only consisted of just checking out this supposed fishing spot.
The place hadn't come in sight so far and his legs started to get weary from the long hike he had made. "Time for a break" he loudly spoke to himself as he took out his smoking pipe before sitting down in the shade of a nearby Faedong tree.
