Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

Solemnly the Inarta nodded. Wisdom existed in his words, and it was something her young mind could not argue with. There was a long sigh and the girl brought herself to rest on her toes. She dropped the grass blades she had accumulated in her hand, and pressed herself to stand. Home is in the heart? Something can never be lost. It did not feel that way. It felt stripped from her very essence, leaving her only bitter and twisted in heart. Only slightly though. The words did elevate her slightly. They gave her a sense of hope when others had failed to do so. They instilled a slight sense of warm, when before there was only cold.

Eyes narrowed as she looked upon the Akalak. The heart was home, and something that could never be lost. It was unfamiliar ground and the overwhelming new world before her. It weaved the illusion of being lost and out of step with the rest of them. Her cheeks puffed, her arms folding, “You understand then? Thank you.”

It was the least she could do this circumstance, or more over the only thing she thought was slight appropriate to do. Lips pursed, her eyes turning to the sky. Time had travelled fast indeed, the spring sun having begun a steady arch over head. Fingers rubbed at her ears, her nostrils flaring slightly. Home, it still seemed like a far off place. But if the words of the Akalak and his Grandfather’s true, then home would be wherever she dared to tread. Her lip broke into a curl, the once dismal mood beginning to lift. The once heavy weight eased, and whilst she knew that she was only a child beginning to think of the ideals of stepping out into the wide world and finding her own way, it did not stop her regardless. Sami gave a definite nod to Felavik.

“Fel-a-vik,” she smiled at him and clapped her hands together; “Your grandfather speaks wise words. And you said them again to me. And I will say them again to another in time. But before then,” she gave a stretch and clicked out her fingers, “I will… follow the heart and where it wishes to go. It’s where the home is after all. And maybe there, well I’ll find where I belong. Who knows?”
