Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]
Every great artistic center has the need for a jeweler, and the fire and ice is this place. The building itself is very unassuming next to Waterfall Fabrics but it is not any less well known. It is made of the same simple white stone as every other building in Mura and has a very well-crafted and smooth exterior. There is a heavy wooden door that leads to the interior and several smaller glass windows that people can look in if they choose. On the inside the Fire and Ice Jewelers is the size of a medium sized house. Along the walls and the center of the room are several glass cases that display all kinds of jewelry and gems. Some of these gems are finished others are not. But nevertheless the best pieces raw or not are put on display usually in the center of the room. Along the edges are rings both silver and gold as well as necklaces of varying types and sizes. There really doesn’t seem to be a theme between any of the pieces as the owner seems to make whatever fits her mood that day and gathers her inspiration usually from those that enter her shop. It is a joke that some people visit her shop and on their second visit find a piece of jewelry that seems to fit their personality perfectly.
The windows on the outside of the building give any passer by a good view of the inside of the building. They would be able to see the wondrous gemstones she had out for display as well as the wide variety of items. The most common precious item found here are pearls of many shapes, sizes and colors. When browsing the store owner usually keeps a keen eye on her visitors, maybe to draw inspiration or maybe to keep them from stealing; likely the first more than anything. But her demeanor is soft and inviting. There is a faint smell of vanilla wafting about the store, but none can quite place a finger on where it is coming from.
The owner Kaytil sits behind a desk that is right beside the door. She is usually looking through a magnifying glass mounted to the table making something that she feels the need to. But when someone enters she almost always stands and greets them like any good store owner should.

Little is known of Kaytil, except for her marvelous ability with jewelry. She left Mura and traveled abroad most say to Riverfall where she learned to craft gems into wondrous works of art. Some even say she went to Sultros and learned the secrets of crafting gold and silver. None really know but given the works of art she produces the rumors may be true. She is soft and elegant like most Konti though. And always kind, she also seems to always watch those that enter her store for some reason or another. All the works she create seem to have very distinctive personalities which has led many to believe that she draws her inspiration from those that visit her shop; or people that she meets when she walks around Mura. She can often be seen on these walks talking to just about anyone she can come across. The unofficial word in Mura is if you have visited Mura once there is a piece of jewelry waiting for you at the Fire and Ice if you know it or not.
