Taloba, home to the Myrians, is the thriving core of Falyndar. Inhabited by a fierce and savage tribe where blood sacrifices are normal and a way of life, they are untamed and proud of it. Warlike, and with their numbers growing, the Myrians are set on reclaiming what is rightfully theirs. [Lore]

Zurenai Avarachi

Zurenai watches the piece of meat, all but drooling, his eyes focused on it, his pupil slit down the middle due to the brightness of the fire but stares at it all the same. He licks his lips and looks up at you as you begin to speak.

He smiles as you admire his body with words and shrugs, "I don't mind them because I have no feelings for them... I owe them nothing therefore they hardly matter. In the city the women are born for one thing and that is to be married and do house chores for the lazy pig men." He shrugs as you comment on your eyes being nothing new (WITHOUT CAPITALIZING IT!!!!) and smirks, "Perhaps I like your eyes...?" He looks at her and down at his scars and nods, "So you don't mind these..? He smiles and and scratches the back of his head, "I am glad you don't judge these.." He takes your hand and pulls it to touch the deep scar on my chest, "This one doesn't bother you...?" He looks at her softly.

He watches you enter your thought and smirks as you snort, laughing to himself softly. "I am glad that you will allow me to stay here.. I would love to help you... I serve under no God or Goddess though.. I am ignorant to most of their names and purposes.. Please teach me..." He looks at her, his eyes bright i curiosity and takes the meat steak, smiling at it but looks at you, choosing your story over the meat for now and nods, "Thank you for being willing to share your story.."

He watches her intently as she begins to speak and tell her story, his eyes growing soft and sometimes serious as he watches you, He gently traces the tattoo as you show it to him and smiles softly, still not speaking, only listening and looks up at your face again. He follows her to the hut and back out. Taking the wine as she passes it to him and takes a swig of it, then suddenly hugs her. "Thank you for sharing your story, and yes we have faced similar hardships." He smiles and licks his lips, "It does taste quite nice... I like it..." He smirks and releases her from his tight hug.

"Thank you so much for helping me and sharing your tale.. I really do appreciate it..."

Tinnok suddenly found herself in the embrace of a hug. Surprised and slightly alarmed her body stiffened, the Kelvic's muscled grip wrapping around in some combination of affection and thanks. The half breed was not used to such blatant displays, and certainly not one's aimed at her, and thus, her natural reaction could not entirely be blamed.

"Oy!"

She shoved Zurenai off of her. Not as hard as she could, but certainly enough to deliver a message.

"You can stay here as long as you please, Kelvic, but let's get some stuff straight. Just because I told you my sad tale, doesn't mean we're friends. We just met, alright?" Suddenly a wall was up where there had only been friendly interest before. Tinnok took another swig of the wine and sat down next to the flames.

"Are all you guys like that?" She shook her head a little and took a stick of meat for herself, chewing it slowly, apparently completely over the small incident. Her mind of course was still trying to figure out exactly what had happened. Had she been rude? No of course not, one didn't just..hug somebody. It was a story, that was all. A petching sob story that apparently she told at every turn to random strangers...but just a story.

She glanced back up at Zurenai and shook her head. "Sorry, I'm not used to...physical contact."

Zurenai Avarachi

Zurenai looks at her as she shoves him back but his face doesn't take a state of shock but rather of embarrassment and he looks to the side. Scratching the back of his head. "I apologize. I was just in such excitement over the aspect of being able to stay somewhere without being judged that I guess my shock overwhelmed me. Please do not take offense, but upon that note it would be better if I stayed outside."

He shrugs still appearing calm and thinks to himself. What an idiot am I? Why would she want to hug me? Some stranger. Some... barbarian. All I did with that is impede upon our relationship and probably convince her I am some needy bastard that lacks even the mildest fashion of respect. He breaks his though and stands, and looks at you realizing you asked a question and shrugged.

"I apologize. My actions were uncalled for and I should not have committed them. I will understand if you are upset with me and as such I will go and find a meal elsewhere for the night. I will probably sleep in a tree somewhere but seeing as I am as I have seen. The only Jaguar Kelvic in the area you shouldn't see anyone but me if you see a Black Jaguar."

He looks at her, taken aback as she apologizes and shakes head, "Not at all, you should take no sorrow upon this subject it was entirely my fault." He picks up his bag and takes off his weapons walking into the forest and changes, shifting in a bright light and trots off, holding his bag in his mouth and hangs it in a tree as he goes and searches for something to eat this dark night continuing to curse himself.

Tinnok watched the Kelvic go, torn between calling him back. In the end she remained silent, however. He was an oddly affectionate creature for such a large feline predator, perhaps he was just returning to his roots.

The half breed tied up the bag of feathers and collected the remaining sections of meat, wrapping them in some of the large rubbery leaves the jungle supplied in such great supply. Once this was finished she dug a small hole near her hut, feeding a few of the scrap to Dog, who had been waiting so patiently through the whole ordeal, burying the rest of the meat in a small damp hole to preserve the meat a little longer.

Once done the half breed returned to the fire and fed it a few pieces of wood, the Iganu Deepwoods dog pondering over and laying her head in the half breed's lap. Her mind was much calmer now that the feline had left, though truly there was a lot of confusion in the canine's mind as to whether the creature was human or animal, brain deciding on a combination of both.

"I don't get it either, dog. Maybe he doesn't quite understand either."

Dog whined and stuck her nose between Tinnok's legs. The half breed smiled and fed her another bit of the bird.

Additional Notes :
First of all, when you give the Timestamp (Day, Season, Location and Time, the last one being optional), do so at the top of the first post on it's own line/paragraph.

Secondly, when you're detailing paying for anything, of course you have to be accurate and proper with the money, but you've no need to go into little details. Just have a little OOC bubble at the end of the post detailing how much you're deducting from your ledger and what for. Also, don't use actual numbers in text: use the words for them. For example, twenty-eight silver rather than 28 silver.

Thirdly, roleplay on this site is in the past tense, not the present. I slip up on that too, now and again.

Aside from that, a good starting post, Zure. Tinnok, you are good as always, but you know that. I don't need to critique that much with you. I liked the ebb and flow of this story; it ended a little abruptly, but such fractious beginnings are not uncommon. I hope to see it developed further and, once again, welcome to the jungle, Kelvic. ;)
