Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

The South Tower

This is where Rak’keli is said to live when she is on the Isle. The South Tower is located in the Opal Temple courtyard. The first floor is a large cathedral that is modest for Konti standards. It is made of the same white stone as the rest of the city’s buildings. However the blocks themselves seem to glitter a little as if there are flecks of something inside them maybe crushed pearls or another substance of the like. Round windows grace the walls every now and then giving breathtaking views of the well-kept garden surrounding the south tower. Like with everything they did, the Konti enjoyed a certain degree of elegance and luxury, although they never forgot to add nature patterns. Pale green lines were woven into the ivory lines decorating the inside of the walls forming ornate leaves and plants. Some were known to many…others could only be speculated on.

Upon entering the cathedral, he found that the circular room was nearly five times as high as it was long. Nevertheless Syna’s bright light touched every corner, descending from the countless glass windows at the top of the cathedral. A small colored stone statue of Rak’keli resided at the opposite wall, the gracious and modestly dressed Goddess being surrounded by candles and the pleasant scent of burned herbs. Along the side walls several cushions and chairs were situated for those who sought guidance and advice from the resident priesthood. There was one oddity in the room and that was along the far wall there was a spiraling staircase that none ever went up or came down from. It was speculated that these stairs led to Rak’keli’s chamber on the top of the tower.

There is an alter to Rak’keli in the center of the room at the foot of the statue. Made of wonderful white marble and accented in silver. The legs are the very symbol of Rak’keli herself; her beloved Rakanivas intertwined forming sturdy legs. Their scales and wings are accented in ornate silver set against the pure white marble. Visitors are told they can burn incense at the alter and pray for Rak’keli’s grace if they wish. But ascending the staircase is forbidden, needless to say. Candles are often left by visitors at the alter as well. The entire cathedral has a very distinct smell of cleanliness mixed with the ornate smell of all types of burning incense.
