Greetings from Spanish Moss and Brackish Waters

Hi there.

I'm not great with introductions, so I'll keep it short. A friend of a friend pointed me here and after reading a lot of the wiki and talking to several people, I finally decided on a character concept. It was a lot like building an alligator sized mound and laying it full of eggs. Now I just need to sit on it a while and see what hatches, right? I hope you like alligators. I do. Couple them with creepy swamp creatures and you have a win win situation, right? I've done play by posts, tabletop, and a whole host of other things. But I have to say by and large my favorite form of storytelling is sitting around the campfire with a flashlight and a Bud Lite enjoying the company of good friends and talking about the epic one that got away.

So, I'll probably be starting out in a little corner by my lonesome with a slightly confused character who is human but would rather be Dhani and does all sorts of things to make up for that perceived lack. If you want to drop by and play with me, that's great, but otherwise I'm perfectly happy writing for myself. Thank you as well for all the mods I talked to that are going to let me create a little swamp to hang in, most notably Cayenne who I have to say is pretty cool. It's nice to be made to feel welcome. I wish Mizahar came with a swamp pre-built, but I don't mind doing some development along the way.

Anyhow, happy writing is in order? And don't mind me playing with frames. I'm just trying to get used to the BBC code.

I love you already. Swamps are awesome, oh so very awesome, and your character sounds interesting as well. If ever you want to brainstorm with me on potential swamp-makeups do it! I love swamps, and I even had potential swamp creatures in mind that I've yet to write down (and one that is already pending peer reviews)! Hehe.

I'd love to brainstorm with you on swamp makeups. There's so much to do and think about so we'll have to get together. I realize too I'm starting someplace challenging not around any other folks, but if people want to roleplay I can travel a little or would definitely be up for it.
