The pre-dawn darkness was as charming as it was, well, dark. Vira found herself stumbling through the woods just past the main settlements in Thunder Bay. The loamy earth filled the air with its rich scents and the salty air from the bay further complimented the aroma. But the eighteen year old barely noticed any of this as she stumbled along, blathering at a nonexistant being.

She hit a tree and paused, leaning against the thick trunk as she tried to sort out where she was. Everything was horribly blurry and the sounds were far too loud. The knock-knock-knock of a woodpecker overhead made her skull throb. The teen pushed onwards. Fern and moss made the trek difficult; she had no idea if she was traversing in circles or if she was really making headway to the city. Damn she'd get Lander back for this...

"Gnnaah geh oo bag fur hisssss...." She slurred, leaning against another tree. This particular trunk was very soft; she didn't realize that this tree was a particular shade of purple and wasn't moss covered at all. Vira was just completely smashed. Meanwhile, her blurry sight fixed upon the foggy ash-colored shadow ahead. It kind of looked like a bear. A big white bear. "Goway bur!" She shouted boldly, leaning off what she thought to be the soft trunk and reaching for a stone. However, as she leaned, her balance failed her and the woman tipped forwards, over the large log that was laid across the ground immediately in front of her. This resulted in the Chiet landing on her face on the other side, butt in the air, and arms and legs comically splayed.

She murmured something further before beginning to snore softly, her face pressed into the ground and sucking dirt with each noisy inhale.

"NGGFAAHHHHGGGGG.....ssszzzzzz....."

[Thunderbay] Aerobics with an Akalak (Rengar)

Postby Rengar on June 3rd, 2013, 11:08 pm

Rengar was shirtless and sweating as he swung from hip to shoulder and back again, his axe biting deep into the wood. Chips of wood flew as he kept chopping at the pine. This one wasn't particularly large, but wide enough to make for good stout fence posts. He should be able to get at least six good posts from it, ones that would be more resistant to the coming winters, and last for a good long time. That was one thing he'd been noticing when it came to the woodsmen of Wind Reach. They didn't plan for the long term, preferring to constantly replace the woods they used. But Rengar was going to change that mentality. In Riverfall, things were built to last, and he was going to pass that tradition on to here.

He paused for a second, to rest and move around to the other side of the tree, having finished the one-third fall chop. Now it was time for the timbering cut. As he moved around the tree, his gifted nose, his gift from the Goddess Oriana, picked up a scent he knew, one he'd smelled before. The smell of a woman who had caught his eye before. He knew that scent by name, Lavira. But that wasn't the only smell, there was alcohol in the air as well. He flicked on his infravision, and soon found her slumped over a log in what he assumed to be a drunken stupor. Then Garren took over at the sight of her.

He knelt down next to her, eyeballing that fine rump that was stuck out so high. He poked at her shoulder lightly, seeing if she would wake. Nothing. So he poked much more firmly, a poke that would wake all of the deepest of sleepers. Nothing.

Well brother, I think we should get this poor creature back to our tent. Wouldn't want her to catch a cold or be eaten by a bear, would we?

A mischievous smile adorned his face, as he decided to take a liberty or two, in his helping her. His hand alighted upon the small of her back, and he slowly tugged the bottom of her shirt higher. Then hand was on skin, inching ever so low, like a thief sneaking a jewel from a pocket. His fingers slipped beneath the waist band of her Bryda, appreciating the loose, flowing fabric. Lower and lower his hand slipped, him now feeling the smooth skin of her buttocks. He kept pushing the boundary until his hand fully cupped a single, smooth, tight cheek of the woman. He caressed it firmly, gripping it tight until he'd had his fill. Then his hand left her Bryda faster than gasp of air. He then belted his axe and picked the woman up, turning her over in his arms so she faced the sky. Standing up, he held her close to his chest and began the walk back to his tent.

He carried the snoring beauty into his tent and set her upon his bedroll. He'd gotten his kick of what he'd first longed for, but he was no rapist. He would wait for her to wake and try and seduce her properly when she did. And if that didn't work, he had a full wineskin sitting there with him. So he watched her while she slept, kicked off his boots, leaving him in just his trousers. She would be his, and she would want it that way. He would make sure of it.

The teen would have sworn up and down Skyinarta that the tent had been a bear. Or, she would have, had she not been utterly passed out on that log. She was so gone, she didn't even notice the nosy not-so-little hand tucked inside her bryda and squeezing one cheek.

"NGGAAAAAHHHHHGGGG.....zzzzzzssszszzzz...." She snorted briefly when the Akalak raised her and turned her over, lifting her into his arms. Her head lolled back until the snores cut off and she was simply breathing, mouth opened wide and her hands flopping lazily. She wasn't heavy, but neither was she light, a good balance of the between. Even held as she now was, he could feel the musculature of a woman familiar with hard work, and lots of it. That toned shadow caused by clothing only made her seem thin. Those muscles were dense and balanced.

When he ducked into the tent, she started to stir, but made it no further than a flutter of that single green-gold orb. Nor did she immediately sitr once settled on the bedroll, though for a moment it seemed she might; but no, the woman simply rolled onto her side and tucked her hands childishly between her knees, arched her head back, and resumed her drunken snores.

---------------------------

It was some two hours before the chiet fully woke, bleary eyed and yawning. She blinked, laying on her left side so that usable eye was actually pressed into the akalak's bedding. Vira laid like this for many long moments, as though trying to gather the energy to do more; or perhaps wondering how she'd gotten here and why this neither felt nor smelled like her bed. Slightly less slurred words spilled then.

"Don'member gettin' bag to the cidee...." She muttered and finally rolled onto her back. The woman caught a glimpse of purple then and froze. Since when was there anything purple of any variety in her quarters?!

She sat up too quickly, both eyes wide and then swiftly shut again as a righteous groan spilt from lips. "Ooowww....." Her hands rose to grab at either side of her head, almost whimpering. "Petch, my head....why did I do that...? He's gonna pay....Nnngghh." Peeking through lashes, the ginger stared towards the figure she'd seen initially, but the dawn light and her bogged mind made really seeing him difficult.

"Where am I and how did I get here?" She rubbed at either side of her head as she asked this, still squinting. There was a first time for everything; it seemed getting drunk and hungover was her first. "And why do I taste dirt..."

Garren had briefly nodded off as he waited on the woman to wake up, sitting there like a purple sentinel. His ears picked up her stirring, and he woke, and saw her still struggling to come to terms with not being asleep. He watched her roll over and mumble something unintelligible to Garren, and almost laughed as she froze at the sight of him. Either she'd forgotten him or she still didn't have her bearings yet. Finally she started making sense as she began questioning her situation. "Well, as for the where, you're in my tent just outside of Thunder Bay. And the how, I carried you here after I found you drunken and passed out nearby. The dirt taste I'd imagine would be from your face plant after tripping on a log. And if you don't remember me, I'm Garren. We met at the market last season Lavira."

She looked like she was having a massive hangover, and it gave him an idea. His brother inwardly groaned, but it was a good idea, in his mind at least. "You smell like you had a good time last night. Let me guess, your head feels like you got smacked with a rock? Well there's only one sure fire trick to curing a hangover, something we always used back home in Riverfall. And since you interrupted my work, you get to help me get back on schedule. No ifs, ands, or buts. Now get up and lets head outside. Oh and shield your eyes when exiting, Syna's smile will burn something fierce if you're not careful."

Rengar stood up in his massive tent, towering over the woman, taking a moment to stretch his muscles, working a kink out of his back. Then he opened the tent flap and stepped outside. He then popped his head back in, and tossed her the wineskin he had. "Take a decent swig of that. Not too big, but a little will help alleviate that throbbing feeling."

Outside he pondered what would be the best method to get her to follow his plan willingly, while he finished chopping that tree. It wouldn't take much longer, maybe ten, twenty chimes, but he needed to keep her busy. They'd need to get a meal later, so he decided to set her on that. He walked over to his tree, unhooked his axe, and started doing full body swings around to stretch out his muscles before he got started. "Lavira, I have a stack of logs about two chimes eastward. Go and grab me about five arm loads. You can set them next to the fire circle by my tent. Oh and they are ironwood logs, so they're going to be quite heavy. But take your time, you needn't hurt yourself. The first step to taking care of that hangover is to sweat the alcohol out of you. Now get to work while I finish this tree off."

Rengar then stepped up to the pine, opposite of the side of his first cut section. He brought it down hard, sinking the blade several inches into the wood, the outer bark flying off. He kept at it, chopping harder and harder, losing himself in the thuds of his work. As he worked his way to the center, he could feel the tree shudder harder and harder with each blow. With one last strike, he felt the tree crack, he pulled his axe loose, and let out a high pitched whistle to let anyone in the area know to look out. He'd cut the tree in such a manner to fall westward, as a responsible woodsman would. A loud splintering sound was heard, and the tree tumbled away from Syna's smile. And with a small thundering groan, struck the ground. He set his axe against the top of the pointed stump and leaned on it, looking over to check Lavira's progress. "So what brought you into this situation? So drunk that you were wandering around the wilds just asking to get eaten by a bear?"

Faceplanted in the earth; drunken stupor; waking in a barely acquaintances lodgings. Had she lost her mind? The teen groaned and worked her way into an unsteady stand, stretching her back and popping her hips in the process. Everything felt weighted and slow. "Mmnf...s'why I don't drink." This muttered to herself.

Louder, then, as she climbed off the bedroll and accepted the wineskin to take the offered swig, she said, "I remember you. We met at the market before last; you bought all that archery gear from one of the bowyers but could hardly draw the string. How's that working out for you?" The question was asked offhandedly, Vira halfclosing her eyes as she made to follow him outside.

That wasn't enough and the ginger moaned miserably, shielding her eye once again from Syna's bright grin, even filtered through the trees like it was. She covered her eye with her left hand and clenched it shut, following Garren by voice as he headed for the log he'd been working on. By the time Vira really understood his directions, she'd had to ask three times, her mind muddied and making basic comprehension extremely difficult. Just imagine trying to fly a wind eagle why drunk...That thought made the teen shudder. The ginger dragged herself off to the logs he'd indicated.

Once she got to the location, Vira stopped and looked at the woodpile. It wasn't that big; but he'd said he needed five arm loads. She grabbed one log and grunted, settling it against her chest and bending carefully to grab the next. Where normally, she might have been able to manage five decent sized logs, the inartan only succeeded in toting three, and it was a hard tote at that. She stumbled back along the simple trail, following the sound of chopping wood to deliver the first load. It took about seven chimes for the first load, and even that had her sweating.

She felt horrible. But the teen trusted in the man enough right this moment to get her back on track. She went to grab the next load. Again, it was three logs and by the time Vira returned with the second load (panting and squinting in the bright light) she'd doubled the time it had taken to get the first. The wood was dropped once more and Vira headed for the third. Midway back up the trail, the redhead was forced to stop, planting her hands on both knees and bending over as a wave of nausea rushed through her. "Uggghhh...never again. Never, ever again." She muttered seconds before what remained in her stomach from the previous night was returned to the terra beneath her.

Garren was through with his own chopping by the time Vira made it back with the third load, this time a full five logs carried. She was red in the cheeks and forehead and her long locks were drenched in sweat. Both arms were taut, the biceps bulging as she hauled the wood and dropped it into the pile. He was right about the wood being heavy; but Vira was glad for the work, it was bringing things back into focus, though she'd need a good bath once done.

Pausing after this to wipe her mouth and brow, the chiet looked up to Garren and raised her eyebrows. "A man named Lander, actually. I was enjoying dinner at the Clam last night...and that's about all I really remember. I kinda remember swimming, maybe...Could have just fallen off a dock for all I can recall. I hope it was worth it because I don't think I much enjoy a hangover." And that was the gods honest truth.

Vira looked about afterwards, her hands pulling sodden hair back over her shoulders. Moving to one of the trees with ivy growing up it, the teen pulled some of the vines free and stripped the leaves from it before improvising and using it to hold her hair back. "Just five, you said? I could probably haul one more if you wanted, Garren." The work was distracting, at least, enabling the younger woman to turn away from her fading headache and focus solely on doing the labor. She had no idea what time it was, though.

Garren laughed heartily as she said she could go get another load of logs. "I only needed five logs, the rest was to keep you busy and get you sweating. You get a little bit of a breather. Walk with me sweaty girl."

Garren held his axe, laid it upon his shoulders, resting both arms over it as he eyeballed the tired woman. Red, tired, a little dirty, just how he wanted her. He walked past her, bumping her in the ribs with his hip playfully. They were only ten chimes from Thunder Bay proper, and Garren made a conscious effort to slow his long legged strides so the woman wouldn't have to struggle to keep up. As they made their way there, Garren would throw out the occasional question, "So where's your bird friend? Tulaj was it?"

"I don't think I ever asked what you do, how rude of me. So aside from getting drunk, what's a lovely woman like you do with her day?"

They made it to Thunder Bay, but Garren wasn't looking to go to a specific location. No, what he was looking for was... there it is. A Dek. "You there, Dek. Come here. Quickly now. Yes there we go. I want you to go up to the Processing Center and grab enough food for the two of us to eat. Make sure you get something you know how to cook it as well. I'm not particular what it is, so long as you don't ruin it. Our camp is ten chimes west of here, should be easy to find. You are to stay at the camp with the food until we return there, understand?"

The Dek nodded obediently, and left them. Then without telling Lavira where they were going, and Garren started heading northwest back into the forest. It was a similar route as if back to camp, but they were drifting northerly. Several chimes later, Garren could smell flowing water and known they'd arrived at his destination, the Sanikas River. He led her down to the crystal blue, glacier fed waters, knowing they would be warm this time of year. The bank they were on was sandy and flat, and there was a small set of falls, about ten feet high or so a spear's throw away. Garren led her to the bank just next to the falls, then turned and smiled at her, a knowing glint in his eyes.

He kicked off his boots, then started undoing the laces on his breeches as he stared her in the eyes, almost daring her to look down or look away, but keeping his gaze within hers. "Now that you've sweated it out, you need to relax those muscles and that mind of yours." Laces undone, he let his breeches drop a couple of inches, being held up just above his manhood. He maintained his gaze, "So lose those dirty, sweaty clothes of yours and come join me in these falls. Back home, sharing a plunge pool is a sign of a new friendship, as well as renewal and rejuvenation. So come."

A small shift of his hips and his breeches dropped, and he stood before her in all his splendor. And there was no shame in it, and he made no attempt to hide anything. She could see every muscle, every line and contour. He stepped out of his pants, and stood there waiting patiently, expectingly, his eyes now on her. He planned to enjoy his show, as he assumed she'd enjoyed hers.

The teen followed after him, putting a hand across her chest and behind her shoulder to pop that side, then repeating it with the other shoulder. She was starting to feel better, at least, the labor having worked out a good deal of the ache the alcohol had caused and cleared her head enough that she was feeling much more coherent.

When asked about her caste assignment, she blinked. Most just didn't care, not all though. Sometimes, they were interested. "Oh, er, I'm a nesting attendant. During the spring, I oversee the nesting mothers and any eggs they lay. You know, provide fresh meat when their mates aren't around, keep the aeries clean, help maintain the nest if they wish. During the rest of the year, I teach the hatchlings how to survive when their mother is out. Most of my teaching involves Inartans and Wind Reach, though, since I can't teach them to hunt the same as their mother can. I've thought about commissioning one of the hunters to trap some rodents so I can give the eaglets live prey to train on. It'll help them out, I know."

As they walked, she reflected on some of the eagles themselves. "This past spring, there were six mothers in the aeries, but only three are still there now. One of them, a young bird who's just mated but failed to produce this season is not unlike a new bride. And then there's Heshvala, the one who hatched the two mid season. This is her second successful brood, the last set having fledged well before the Djed storm."

As they broke from the treeline and emerged on the beach by the Bay, Vira looked to the Dek when Garren ordered him about. There was a moment where it looked like he might rebel, but chose more wisely not to and hurried off to oblige the Akalak and other Inartan. After he was gone, Garren began leading the way further on and for a brief, overly imaginative moment, she wondered if the woodsman wasn't going to chop her up and feed her to the bears. He would certainly be able to do it, his size markedly greater than hers. But this foolish notion was just that: foolish. She followed along in silence, letting her mind drift to the call of the morning birds and the sweet songs they sung to the woods.

The rumble of the river was the next sound to break her reverie, Vira drawn to it and out of the delight of the birds. It seemed Garren had led her to one of the smaller segments of the delta that was the Sanikas. Her eye moved to the short falls not far from the silty beach, admiring the short drop and the prospect of climbing up there and jumping into the waters below. But the Akalak brought her back around again.

He was undressing, those intense eyes staring her down, challenging. Vira flushed, but held his gaze and purposely avoided drifting down his chiseled chest. "That is an interesting concept. We have communal pools in Wind Reach as well, but I'm sure you already knew that. We are a very gregarious people when we wish to be." That single not-quite hazel eye found itself lowering then, descending the mature frame slowly and pausing above his poised hips. He shifted, a subtle gesture that freed him from the pants and exposed him in full to her.

A most absurd urge rose rapidly through her, Vira biting her cheek hard in a vain effort to subdue it. But the urge would not be subdued. The ginger's eyes turned away to the falls quickly, but the almost childish giggle that spilt free made her feel quite the fool; the color in her cheeks told that much. It was for this reason that that Vira swiftly undid the knot holding her katinu up. Before it could fall, though, she wiggled from her bryda and simple undergarments and kicked them far enough from the water to prevent them from getting wet. Only then did she hurry past Garren and pull the katinu over her head, the pretty bay-eagle feather bouncing as it passed her head. The woman left her sandals on, however, so as not to cut feet on any underwater rocks.

Vira waded out and sunk until just her head was above the water, bronzed hair darkening as the riverwater began to absorb into the straight locks. She laid her head back into the water, rubbing hands through her hair quickly to get it fully soaked and keep tangles from slipping in through the dry spots. Gods, what a fool...laughing like some dumb Yasi. "Thanks for letting me work it off, Garren. I'd hate to have shown up at the aeries wreaking of alcohol and shame. No way would the eagles have let me in their aeries then, heh." Her back still to him as she spoke.

Rengar watched as she loosed her katinu, only for her to tease him further by not letting it down yet. But his eyes didn't go unpleasured. He watched her bryda slide down her long legs, his groin tightening at the sight. Then her undergarments fell, and his eyes took in the sight of her exposed sex, and his own twitched in interest. Her clothes kicked away, and she darted past him, the katinu finally falling, as he watched her tight, cute buttocks disappear into the warm waters. He followed her into the river, walking slowly behind the red head, drinking up every line and curve of her back until she disappeared below the surface.

He could hear her laughing and thanking him, as he waded up behind her. He pressed the front of his body up against the back of hers, his large hands resting on her shoulders. He began gently massaging the muscles there, that led from her shoulders to her neck. He lowered his head, whispering in her ear, "You're quite welcome my dear. Just relax and enjoy, a beauty like you needn't be so tense."

His hands rubbed from her shoulders, further down her lean, taut arms. His massive hands slipped lower to cover hers, then his fingers entwined in hers, his arms nearly encompassing her entirely. He could feel that she was a strong, lean woman, and he loved that about her. His lips then kissed lightly at her neck just behind her ear, and then made a trail with his lips down the curvature of her neck to her shoulder. His hands left hers, and alighted upon her hips, and with a single fluid motion, he spun her around to face him, pulling her lean body against his. He looked down at her, not saying anything, his lips pulling into a teasing smile, his intense gaze once more locking down her eyes.

The teen did not think she was teasing! This was foolishness; she needed to get cleaned and get back to th- oh my...

The womans cheeks bloomed with red once more, her hands ceasing their grooming of her sides and front having been working palm and fingers along her skin to rub the sweat and grime out. But the Akalak had caught her, his form pressed from behind. She was not accustomed to contact with others, truthfully, favoring the birds to the people of Wind Reach; being embraced like this felt...strange. Yet, the strangeness was overridden by the soothing massage of his hands upon her shoulders. The tickle of his breath against her ear made her own catch in her throat and eyes close. That strangeness melted into a warm tingle that made her heart flutter and flesh break into goosebumps.

The tingle rose further as he kissed along her neck and curve of shoulder. Her lips opened to release a quivering breath, almost willing the water would wash this sensation away, and yet...Vira shivered. It was an good kind of strange and for a moment the teen thought she might just turn around and kiss him.

No! That's the wine talking and you know it. If you turn around you know what's going to happen! Don't to it, Vira, don't do it, don't do it, don't d-

Her thoughts were cut off and a girlish squeak escaped when he grasped her hips and spun her around. She found herself pulled against him, slighter form pressed by his hands into his larger one. But Vira kept her eyes tightly closed, telling herself that she couldn't look, no she absolutely must not look. Those dark eyes...she'd get lost in them and then who knows what might happen! Just don't open your eyes, girl, don't open them....

But that smoldering stare and taunt of a smile could be felt even through her eyelids and Vira couldn't help herself in peeking, squinting through lashes up at the purple woodsman. And there was just that look. "You have no idea how mean you are." She muttered, failing in not looking at him, but willing her hands to stay closed and pressed against her belly. Maybe if she just didn't touch him, it'd be okay. Everything would be okay...but his eyes were so deep...

Stop it, Vira! Just stop it! Don't touch him; you already looked, but you can't touch!

But he's soooo handsome!

His grip on her hips firmed up briefly as she spoke to him, her eyes now belonging to him. He knew he had her now, but he still wanted to make it special for her, to make her always remember this, and him. To make her always want him more. His hands drifted upward firmly pressing against her, as he felt her hips transition to waist, learning her curves. Drifting higher he felt her ribs, all the while keeping her locked down with his gaze. His hands moved forward a bit, palms brushing along the sides of her breasts, but still climbing ever higher. They crept up her chest, her neck, and his hands finally stopping as he cupped her face.

"Then allow me to make up for my cruelty."

He then bent down, and pressed his lips against hers firmly. He didn't go too aggressive, but he did take control. He held the kiss for several long moments, his lips kneading at hers, letting her know that she brought this desire out of him. Then slowly, as if drawing out a poison, he pulled his lips away, and just looked down at the beautiful woman before him. His hands teased down her arms, and he grabbed her hands, and placed her arms around his neck. Then in a single swift movement, his hands grabbed the backs of her thighs, and lifted her. He parted her legs so they could wrap around his waist. He brought her fully against him, feeling the warm tickle of her curls against his abdomen, her aroused buds brushing against his chest, cushioned by her breasts. One hand helped support her by gripping her buttocks, the other arm hooked beneath hers, cradling her head.
