It was hard describing what was Amelia’s feelings regarding the ghost girl being a friend of her mentor. It was not something she would expect, when Elaine spoke of having a friend mage, for some reason, the only ones coming into mind were the teachers of the institute. She couldn’t really imagine how the two of them met and what had happened to bring them together as friends.
When Elaine spoke of the similarities between them, it was a bit amusing to know. Though it wasn’t quite like she had made it sound. Amelia left Zeltiva when she was young, she had highly good reasons for being in Ravok, and despite her still not being a hands down fanatic of the sun or Rhysol. She could tolerate the city and didn’t want something bad happening to it…and Clyde. Well, saying she knows him personally is pushing it. Yes, she knows him as her teacher. But that is about all, the two of them haven’t really gotten into the phase of their relationship when you could dare call each other a friend. Or did she miss that part somewhere along the lines? She found him to be distant.
As the two continued waking in silence, an unusual sound came from the distance. Amelia didn’t really have the time to react on her own, before the ghost girl had told her to hide. Amelia’s red dress made it hard to blend in, but she did her best as she hid behind a fairly large bush. She didn’t see Elaine anymore, hinting that the girl had disappeared, well, stopped being visible.
When the figures approached, it was hard to tell their motives, Amelia wasn’t good at reading people from their appearance, and she needed to see them react to something or hear them speak. But one thing was clear; the woman wasn’t willingly following the man. She looked frightened and it sent cold shivers upon Amelia. ”who could it be” she wondered as she tried to make out what they were speaking about. The only things she had come to realize was, that the woman had a form of leash around her neck, and they were speaking about hunting. That was not good, the horror of them hurting Fauna in the process.
Still, she felt save, they didn’t seem to notice Amelia, until she accidentally broke a twig under her foot. She froze, her body refused to move and she felt cold, she wasn’t sure what to say or do. Amelia waited, waited and soon enough the man’s grotesque voice came ”who is that!?” came the voice, that sounded horrifyingly brutal. It made her feel, as if he’d rip her skin off if given the chance.
