OOCOne poor practice dummy coming up! :D

Rena couldn't keep herself from crying as well, she stood up and moved herself to in front of Yuri; her tiny form reaching just pass his eye-level even though he was sitting down. She extended her right hand and caressed Yuri's cheek, gently smiling at him like a niece to her uncle. "It's okay, Sir... everything would b-..." She looked at her older sister and noticed she was... grinning!?

"be... alright..." Rena decided to ignore it for now, she realized something about her older sister. Beneath Kouri's cheerful and bubbly exterior, lay a mischievous little devil just below the surface; the devil that fed on the suffering of others, whether physical or mental. She also realized that perhaps this side of her sister was never directed at herself, the only person Kouri truly cared for.

Mwehehehehehahahaha! Feed me those delicious tears... Kouri didn't realize her face was plastered with a grin that was definitely good in nature. She just kept silent as Yuri told his history, a creature relishing in his agony.

She only snapped out of her trance when Yuri talked about her ability at soulmist projection, the evil grin disappeared from her face; replaced by excitement. "Of course, Sir Yuri! Ehehehe~ We can all train together! Hahaha!" As she said that, eight tendrils emerged from her body and wildly swayed the air "Beautiful, aren't they? Someday, you both can do this too~".

Sis... Rena felt a dilemma, Kouri's mind was obviously damaged and unstable. It was rather ironic than the little sister she wanted to protect so much had a more stable and sane mind. Rena was afraid that someday, she will end up like her sister. Then again... as long as I have her... A tinge of acceptance washed over her, but she quickly shook it.

Kouri jumped up and down like a hyperactive little girl when Yuri mentioned possession and the offer of apprenticeship. She had never encountered another ghost who's willing to teach her about this most taxing power of hers. Kouri's ability at possession was lagging far behind her other powers as she didn't get much chance practicing them and it was really taxing.

"Hehe-..." Kouri and Rena noticed the rustle in the bush as well. "Stay here, Rena and Sir Yuri..." Kouri felt she was the strongest ghost in matters of combat ability out of them so she decided to handle it first.

"Okay... sis..." Rena stayed close to Yuri and clung to him.

"....." Kouri launched herself forward to the source of the voice, eyes narrowing slits in alert. Once she's there, she found... a brown-haired young man... a hunter by the looks of his clothing and the bow and quiver behind his back.

"!?" The hunter jumped back in surprise, eyes wide in shock and fear. Earlier this day, he got a warning from Ama that you must be careful around this area as the 'Bane of the Wolves' lives here. He felt so stupid to forget the Kelvic's warning, the phantom girl in front of him fitted perfectly with Ama's description; extremely long silver-white hair, crimson red eyes, and a bloodstained dress.

"P-please! Please don't do anything to me! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" He pleaded for his life, he was just a simple hunter doing his job; he didn't do anything wrong to offend the rather known wolf-slaughterer ghost. If the phantom could slaughter animals like it was nothing, what stopped her from doing the same to himself?

The man kept pleading and pleading, Kouri couldn't take it anymore; he was way too much noisy and a coward. "Oh, shut up!" She extended a thick tendril and *TWACK!* smacked the hunter on the back part of his neck, causing him to fell limp; knocked out.

OOCRena should kept holding on to you should you decide to investigate Kouri's location, Yuri :)

[Bronze Woods] Morbid Festivities (Yuri)

Postby Yuri Forsin on June 17th, 2013, 4:39 am

Yuri looked up in sudden surprise from his lamenting as Rena stood in front of him, caressing his cheek gently. Yuri gazed with sorrowful green into kind violet, as the young ghost girl smiled at him kindly. How long has it been, since someone had looked at him so kindly? "Tha... thank you Miss Rena..." Yuri bowed his head, exhaling a nonexistent breath shakily, and looked back up at Rena, smiling sadly. Some long buried sad emotion made Yuri just want to embrace the girl and weep, but he refrained, he had shed enough tears today.

That was when Yuri noticed Rena's slight faltering as she looked back at her older sister, and he saw Kouri's unsettling grin. This bolted Yuri out of his dreary state; could it be Miss Kouri was enjoying his sadness and tears?! No, Kouri wasn't that kind of a person, was she? Yuri looked with concern at Kouri, her grin putting him off; it reminded him of something he didn't want to be reminded of. Of a certain spiritist from his past and the ghosts who followed him gleefully. Yet, he remained silent about Kouri's... odd grin. Yuri brushed it aside for now, but his concern remained. There was definitely more to Kouri underneath, something more unsettling.

Yuri's eyes widened for a second as Kouri proudly displayed her soulmist tendrils gleefully. Just for a second, as his eyes relaxed and Yuri observed Kouri as calmly as he could. She really did surpass his skill by leaps and bounds, and was far more dangerous then he was. The way she manipulated that number of soulmist tendrils, it was startling. Yuri laughed weakly with Kouri, "Yes, I'm sure it will be fun Miss Kouri, training together..."

Looking at Kouri, Yuri could clearly sense something was not right with her. Beneath her cheerful girlish exterior, was something more darker. Something more demonic in nature. But far from frightening the male ghost, it only made Yuri more concerned for Kouri; what could be driving such an innocent girl to insanity? It seemed the only thing keeping Kouri sane was her little sister Rena, much like how music had calmed Yuri. After all, Yuri himself had dealt with a inner demon... his own psychotic madness and vengeance which now lays dormant, or so he hoped. Yuri also was not exempt from insanity, it was merely sleeping right now. If only he could help her... but how? Oh what am I thinking? She's just a girl, no need to worry. But he still worried.

Seeing the Kouri's excited reaction to his offer to teach her possession, Yuri merely smiled gently at her. So childlike, and yet, not so... "You seem rather excited Miss Kouri." Yuri remained seated as Kouri jumped up and down in front of him. "But why? Is there a reason you want to learn it so badly?" Saying this, Yuri also thought to himself: Why do I want to develop my soulmist projection? He hesitated to answer himself, full-knowing the answer: Revenge... "Well, once we find someone to practice on, we can start!" Yuri grinned jovially to Rena, despite his inner thoughts.

"Alright then Miss Kouri..." Yuri remained sitting with Rena clinging to his side. "I'm sure its nothing dangerous Miss Rena, nothing your sister can't handle." Yuri smiled reassuringly at Rena, kindly as an older brother does to a younger sister.

Yuri strained to listenin the direction that Kouri headed off to. Was that... pleading he heard? Yuri furrowed his brows in worry. Don't tell me Miss Kouri scared some hapless person taking a stroll! He looked down at Rena who was at his side. Then, he noticed that the pleading suddenly stopped. Still concerned, Yuri looked down at Rena who was still at his side. "Why don't we check on what your sister is doing? Seems whatever was making that noise stopped." Yuri waited for Rena to detach herself then jumped back up, gliding quickly to where Kouri was.

Upon arriving, Yuri found Kouri floating over the fallen form of a human hunter. "What did you do Miss Kouri!" Worried, Yuri knelt down by the fallen man's form. Coalescing his soulmist over his etheral form, Yuri materialized himself and checked the man's pulse."Oh dear, he's out cold isn't he?" Yuri shook his head disapprovingly at Kouri, but found he couldn't help himself from grinning to his own surprise. "You didn't have to go this far just to find someone to practice on Miss Kouri. Scaring people out of their wits and making them faint, heh." Yuri chuckled softly as he propped the man against a tree, carefully letting the head fall forward slowly.

"Now... let's practice shall we?" Yuri smiled cheerfully at Kouri and Rena, his emotions flipped from worry and concern to that of gleeful enjoyment, as something that Yuri thought was dormant stirred.

OOC :
Just a short note, Yuri. Your soulmist projection ability is still at novice so you can't lift up a prone man, it would still be too heavey for him. :) So I made Kouri helped him in this post

And materialization can't be used to move objects on its own, it must be combined with soulmist projection (That's why I suggest training with it as soon as possible) as S.Projection is our most used method to interact with the physical world

"Ehehehe~" Kouri helped Yuri set the unconscious hunter against a tree with two of her tendrils by lifting up his shoulders "I didn't do anything~ He went out-cold when he saw me~" Kouri lied, she figured Rena wouldn't like it if she knew Kouri was physically harming the man.

"Awww... Sis~" Rena giggled and smiled "I wonder why?". Rena jokingly stated, she knew it was because of Kouri's translucence, crimson eyes, and most notably the bloodstains on her that spook most humans most.

"Ahahaha~" Kouri floated to beside Rena and held her hand, eagerly waiting for Yuri to show his possession ability. "We're ready, Sir! Please teach us all you know about going 'inside' people~"

OOCSorry for the short post, but Yuri is now leading the scene. :)

OOCOops, my bad *facepalm* I completely forgot about my own race's skills... *sigh*

Yuri tried lifting the man up with the soulmist tendrils collected in his hands, but he couldn't even move the man an inch. Too... heavy darn it! Thankfully, Kouri helped him prop the man up, once again making Yuri lament his own inability inwardly. "Whew, thank you Miss Kouri."

Yuri chuckled as Kouri and Rena joked with each other, "Oh please, Miss Kouri isn't that scary looking is she? I mean, how can someone so pretty looking as her be scary enough to make a person faint?" Yuri added jokingly, also oblivious to the manner in which Kouri procured their practice dummy.

"Alright then, I hope you know the basics of... er... going into people. Extend your soulmist around them and cover your target," Gray soulmist began extending out of Yuri, quickly covering wholly the unconscious hunter, "And begin entering like this!" Yuri swiftly jabbed his hand into the man's chest as he felt around for the object called the soul. "Find the soul, and you are all set!" As he said this, Yuri could feel in he grasp of his soulmist the man's soul. "Heh... so open and easy," Yuri smiled up at the girls, "This man will be of no problem for even a novice to possess, but that won't always be the case. All people have a natural resistance, but to defeat that you must strengthen your own presence inside. Dominate the will..."

Upon saying that, Yuri's form rapidly faded into the man, taking in with himself all of the gray soulmist. Now, lets get to work… Opening his eyes he found himself observing a past memory of the hunter. A memory of when the man took down his first deer with the help of his father. A moment of pride and enjoyment. But Yuri was not here to observe memories.

Yuri focused on getting control as he spread his soulmist throughout the body; now he saw before him the cozy interior of a wood cabin, a bow hanging from the wall on a rack. That must be the key. Yuri reached out and took hold of the bow and as he did the man slowly opened his eyes to the daylight.

It had worked smoothly, not a single hitch, not a memory leaked out. Yuri moved the man's hands round testingly, and soon jumped up to his feet. Yuri stretched the arms out to the side and smiled down at the girls, "And it looks like I was succesful!"

The sister watched in awe as Yuri's soulmist began covering the KO-ed hunter, especially Kouri as it was obvious Yuri's competency at possession was noticeably higher than herself. Rena made a gulping motion as Yuri explained the basics of posession.

"I see, I see..." Kouri nodded, a rather dumb expression on her face as her attention was completely occupied the spectacle before her. The sisters gasped in awe when Yuri finally disappeared, going 'inside' the hunter's body.

"S-sir Yuri?" Rena approached the unconscious hunter in concern, the thought of Yuri literally disappeared crossed her mind. She just got a new friend, losing him in such a sudden manner was disconcerting.

"It's okay, Rena, just give him a few moments..." Not a few seconds after Kouri said that, the hunter's eyes slowly opened. He succeeded... The sisters saw the 'hunter' moved around his arms and suddenly jumped to his feet.

"And it looks like I was succesful!"

"W-woooooooooah!!!" Rena literally jumped up and down in excitement, she immediately launched herself to hunter/Yuri, materialized herself, and touched all around his body. Examining the possessed body.

"Ehehehe~ Amazing, Sir Yuri~" Kouri clapped her hands like an excited little girl and approached him. "I see now! The only way to get stronger in possessing is to keep training!" Kouri was determined now, she must be to save a certain squire from his own mind.

"Let's play, Sir Yuri! Let's play!" Rena tugged the hunter's jacket, urging him to play with her like the little girl she was.

"Me too! Ehehehe~" The older sister didn't want to be left out, of course.

OOCFeel free to roleplay Kouri and Rena playing with you. :)

When you're done, we can move on to Kouri's turn. :D

Yuri beamed a mirthful smile at Rena as she examined the hunter's body in wonderment. Yuri noted the familiar lack of feeling he had in the possessed body as he knew Rena was touching the body yet Yuri did not feel anything. This may be the closest thing to being alive again, but then not so. He was a mere puppeteer controlling a body, nothing more. The cold sensation of Rena's materialized hands did not reach him; Yuri patted the Rena tenderly on the head, though he once again felt nothing as he had only moved the hunter's hand in a patting motion.

Yuri/hunter grinned gleefully at Kouri, "Yes, the only way to get stronger is to keep practicing; just keep on training!" The worry Yuri had about the young ghost girl's state of mind for the moment was put aside; she was just a little girl, even if she was a ghost like himself.

Yuri saw Rena tugging the hunter's jacket, asking for him to play. Making the hunter's head nod in agreement, Yuri/hunter knelt down beside Rena, setting aside the hunter's bow and quiver, "You want to play Miss Rena?" Yuri/hunter smiled kindly, "Why of course!"

"Yes, you too Miss Kouri!" Yuri/hunter laughed cheerily as the two sisters jumped unto him with their materialized forms, clinging to the hunter's arms. Grinning goodnaturedly, Yuri stood up and lifted the hunter's arms up with the sisters hanging on, their feet dangling in the air as they giggled like little children. "Hang on tight now!" Yuri urged the body to walk forward only to find the girls had unmaterialized at the last second, leaving him standing awkwardly alone and the girls still giggling as they floated behind him. "Oh you girls..." Yuri shook his head with a feigned look of disappointment.

"Alright, how about tag? Who wants to be it?" Yuri turned to ask the girls and chuckled enjoyably as the sisters both shot their hands up eagerly, "Me me me Sir Yuri!" The sisters both asked excitedly at the same time, jumping up and down hyperactively. Yuri once again smiled widely, "Both of you? Hehe... alright then, both of you are it! Catch me if you can!" Yuri began running away from the girls, weaving between trees and jumping over fallen logs and foliage. All he had to do was run a bit of a ways then just blink away- Wait, I can't blink while possessing! Yuri was about to blink, only to find himself stopped halfway while running. A comical blunder on his part as Yuri's eyes widened in realization. Darn it!

Before Yuri could start running again, he was hug-tackled by the two girls as they launched swiftly toward him, knocking Yuri/hunter clean off his feet as they landed on top of him on the forest floor. "Gotcha Sir Yuri!" Kouri enthusiastically grinned down at Yuri/hunter from on top of him as Rena giggled beside her. Yuri looked up into her crimson red eyes with the hunter's light brown eyes with a sense of defeat. "Aww, you caught me way too fast you two!" Yuri grinned for a second then burst out laughing heartily, accompanying Kouri and Rena's giggling.

Just playing around like this in so long, its fun! Yuri continued laughing along as he just lay on the forest floor with the two little girls by his side. The weary soul of Yuri felt a lot crisper after simply playing as he laughed in a way he hadn't for so long, a truly joy-filled and happy laugh.

So the three played like this for the next few chimes, enjoying the simplicity of the moment, a grown man laughing like a child with these two ethereal girls. Yuri could have continued on like this for longer, but he began feeling the hints of the strain the possession was having on his soulmist. He still had to conserve it for the soulmist projection training. And it was also only a matter of time before the hunter woke up. "Well, I think its time I got out. Still need to save some soulmist for soulmisting." Yuri/hunter set himself down against a tree trunk and closed his eyes; seconds after Yuri's ethereal form rose out of the unconscious man's body, which immediately slumped as Yuri left.

Yuri stretched out his ethereal arms as he floated up, feeling somewhat tired from the possessing. "Now, its your turn. Stay in there only for a chime or two, just to make sure you don't use up all of your soulmist. We still have to practice soulmisting." Yuri looked down at the hunter and noticed the slightest movement of his right hand. Yuri rubbed his chin with his right hand, slightly worried "And hurry too; it looks like our good hunter is beginning to wake up."

[Bronze Woods] Morbid Festivities (Yuri)

Postby Fubuki Kouri on June 20th, 2013, 11:40 am

Fubuki Kouri

Kouri and Rena were having a good time, playing around like little girls in their childhood, a normal childhood that was ripped away from them. By a beast for Kouri and bandits for Rena. The three ghosts continued playing, if one could see them now, one could say that the rumor saying all ghosts were completely insane and mindless were indeed, false.

But like all good things, it must came to an end someday... but who said you couldn't begin those good things again? And again, and again for all eternity! So when Yuri released his hold over the man's body, Kouri was already preparing herself for another possession with Rena looking intrigued and concerned at the same time. She had witnessed her possessing a female Nuit named Isolde, surely her older sister wouldn't mess up, right?

"And hurry too; it looks like our good hunter is beginning to wake up."

"Hm? Ahahaha~" Kouri oddly giggled at the fact that should make her worry instead of amused, Rena got the gut feeling Kouri was up to something. "Hmmm~♪" Kouri approached the slouching hunter and knelt down in front of him, she noticed his twitching right hand and groan coming from his lips.

Her next statement contradicted with common sense and logic. "I don't think so, Sir Yuri~ See~" Even as she was looking at Rena and Yuri with her happy grin, she focused the energy of her tendrils on her right hand and *POW!!* violently chopped the back of the hunter's neck with enough force to send him back to dreamland once more. "See? I don't think he'll wake up soon~♪ Ehehehehe... ahahaha... AHAHAHA!"

Rena's feelings were right, Kouri was up to no good. Her sister's act of violence on the innocent hunter made her shuddered in fear and she instinctively grabbed Yuri's coat "S-sis... y-you're scary..."

"What?" Kouri's eyes glowed for a split second and she slowly approached the quivering little sister "I see, I'm scary? Me? Who protects you and care for you is scary?" Kouri's aura was getting angrier and angrier with every second as she extended a tendril and rather forcefully grabbed Rena's waist and pulled her to herself.

"That's just not possible~♪" Kouri's sing-song haunting voice only added to the fear and wrongness of her mind. Then she suddenly exploded "RENA IS MINE!! RENA MUST LOVE ME!! YOU CAN'T BE DOUBTING ME!!" Her banshee-like voice echoed violently in the Woods and sounds of birds scramming in panic could be heard all round them.

"S-s-sis..." Rena curled herself into a fetal position, so this was Kouri's true nature, Rena thought being with her older sister was the best thing in the world and nothing could go wrong but she was too naive it seemed.

Kouri suddenly went eerily calm and spoke in a whisper, though it could be heard by Yuri as well "Understand~♪? Do you understand~♪? You understand, don't you~♪?" She repeated the same question in different composition, her tone cheerfully insane.

"......" Rena closed her eyes and couldn't answer the question, she was too afraid. She might wet herself from the fear, but good thing she was a ghost. She couldn't believe this situation, her child mind started to break.

"IF YOU UNDERSTAND AT LEAST PETCHING ANSWER MEEEE!!!!" Kouri exploded once again, this time a wave of chilling cold air surged from her form.

"Y-yeeees! S-sis! You're not scary! Y-you're not... you're not scary..." Rena answered out of instinct and primal fear. She thought this was it, she's going to kept for all eternity by this insane older sister of hers, a tinge of acceptance washed over her and Rena thought as long as she didn't defy her, Kouri would not do this to her again and she considered being more like her sister instead of clinging on her human morality.

"Ahaha.. AHAHAHA!! AHAHA!! AHAHA!! AHAHAHAHUHUHUHUhuhuhu~♪" Kouri laughed in satisfaction and she lovingly rubbed Rena's light blond hair with her right hand. "It's okay~ There's no way I would hurt you, right~♥?"

Then her eyes glowed with a crimson hue as she locked her gaze into Rena's tearing violet eyes "But if you keep making jokes like this..." A tendril then jutted out from her back and grabbed an arrow from the hunter's quiver, Kouri then dangerously put the arrow near Rena's right eye. "My hand might slip..." Her intimidation attempt was working perfectly, Rena was tearing up and her eyes went blank in fear.

"Rena... can I ask you one more time? So... am. I. sca-ry?"

"N-no..." Rena answered timidly, she was terrified but no one would accept a phantom like herself so she kept on clinging to Kouri, at least this older ghost loved her; no matter how insane it may looked.

"I see~♪!" Kouri threw away the arrow and disturbingly went back to her cheerful self "There's no way I'm scary, right? Ahahaha~♪ Because Rena loves me~ You love me, right?"

"Y-yes..."

"Yay! I love Rena as well!" Kouri snuggled her own cheeks against Rena, the little sister just kept staring blank into space, her violet eyes lost its light and unfocused. Kouri then gently put Rena down and patted her head "Alright! I'm going to try possessing him now~♪ Watch me, Rena and Sir Yuri" The thought of Yuri's reaction to her sudden outburst didn't come to her mind at all.

Kouri then approached the unconscious hunter and covered him with her soulmist, she then proceeded to extend her right hand and phased her hand through his chest; she then concentrated herself and her form slowly vanished, going 'inside' the hunter. It would take her a couple of chimes to properly adjust herself as she's still a novice.

Rena fell down on her knees with tears flowing down her face, she tilted her head and looked at Yuri with a face full of fear as if trying to ask for his help; but she knew Kouri would utterly butcher the male ghost should he tried to take her away from Kouri so she just kept silent.

[Bronze Woods] Morbid Festivities (Yuri)

Postby Yuri Forsin on June 21st, 2013, 8:30 pm

Joy and happiness, how long could these two blessed emotions last for? Sadly, not very long, as stark reality showed its face almost immediately. "Miss Kouri!" Yuri could only watch in shock and concern as Kouri violently sent the hunter into unconsciousness again, listening with a heavy heart to the ghost girl's insane laugh. So that was how she acquired him... you really are more than just a little girl. But who was to say Yuri was any better, for he knew he had a dark side like this young girl.

This act of violence by her older sister clearly frightened the younger, as Yuri found Rena grabbing unto his tailcoat. Looking at Kouri now, Yuri could only watch in silent horror as the girl, in her haunting girl-like insanity, roughly tore Rena from his side to herself. The male ghost was alarmed that Kouri would act with such harshness to her own sister, it was not right!

Kouri's voice ringed harshly in Yuri's ears with her mad scream, but he remained unusually calm looking on the outside. Not so inside though. Not only was his worry deepening, a cold anger of sorts began simmering as Rena suffered in fear of her sister. But what could he do? If he tried standing against Kouri in her current state, she would probably tear him apart with her chakrams. Yuri was powerless in front of this girl. All he could do was clench his fists in frustration.

Yuri cringed as he continued listening in silence to Kouri's maddening laugh and the horridly contrasting... affection and love if you could call it that.... to Rena. It was quite clear to Yuri that Rena still clung to her insane sister because she was the only one who cared, in her own mad way, to her. He couldn't stand it, he had to do something! Unbeknownst to the male ghost himself, gray soulmist began swirling around his own form as his own emotions grew, the emotions of worry and icy anger.

That is when in Yuri's eyes, Kouri went to far. She threatened her sister, her own sister who was the only person she had left, Rena who she loved so dearly: Kouri threatened to hurt Rena. Yuri could not simply stand by anymore as Rena began shedding miserable tears. His eyes glowed with a cold green light as he prepared to stand against the ghost, "That is enou-" but before he could do anything, Kouri reverted back to her childish personality, unsettling Yuri as he watched Kouri affectionately snuggle Rena. Replacing his cold anger, there was simply a chilly stillness.

Yuri did not say a word as he watched absentmindedly Kouri preparing to possess the hunter. Reality was harsh and stark indeed, and he could only feel a sad sympathy for Rena, who could only cling to this insane phantom. Seeing Rena's tear-filled face look up at him with a plea of help, Yuri felt something crumple inside of his own heart. If only he could do something, if only he could tell Rena everything will be okay!

Going unto his knees in front of Rena, his soulmist settling down, he only smiled sadly and reassuringly at the little ghost's girl's crying face, a sympathetic gentleness washing over his features. "Its alright Rena, don't... don't worry." Yuri faltered; how could she not worry about her insane sister?! "Your sister still loves you, you know that... she loves you more than anything else in this world." Yuri gently patted Rena's shoulder with his right hand. "And... I'll be here too, if you need me, okay? I promise, there will be someone else beside your sister who will care for you in this world, so please don't cry..."

Yuri struggled to keep back new tears; he had to appear strong to Rena, like he did to Aya many years ago. Silently, Yuri swore that if Kouri ever did go truly insane and dared hurt her own sister, he would be there to stop her.

"Uuun..." Rena could only coo in mixed fear and confusion, so she just held on tight to Yuri and watched the hunter that was being invaded by Kouri. Rena learnt that as long as she didn't make Kouri feel unloved and abandoned, the older ghost would truly care for her. Her outburst earlier was fueled by her obsession with the younger ghost.

After some moments, the hunter's eyes suddenly shot open and a... giggle began to escape his lips. "Ehehehe... ehehahahaha... it was easy! This man is a weakling!" His words indicated that it was Kouri who spoke them. Kouri/Hunter fumbled with her fingers a bit and slowly tried to stand up, almost falling in the process.

"Ahahaha! This is great!" She looked all around her to familiarize herself with the hunter's muscle movements, then she locked her gaze to both Yuri and Rena. "Hm? Why are you guys staring like that? Come on! Let's play! Ahahaha~" Kouri didn't read the tense atmosphere she herself created, her fractured mind created two sides of the coin; one was the original Vantha Kouri and the other one was the little devil, but with each time passed, those sides were starting to mesh; creating a noble little girl with her typical cheerful, gentle, and feminine attitude and a combat sadist, torturer, and psychopathic devil.

"Ehe...ehehehe~" Kouri approached Rena and tried to take her hand. Rena knew better not to show any hesitation or that arrow might truly stab her eye, she braced and materialized herself; allowing Kouri/hunter to take her left hand.

"Yaaaaaaay~" Kouri pulled Rena and just ran around the area, playing around, but for just the brief moment of three chimes. Kouri suddenly released her hold on the hunter's body and he fell down to the ground with a thud, leaving Kouri's ghostly body replacing his previous standing location.

"Sis?" Rena unmateralized herself and looked at her older sister, she was done? So fast...

"Let's go back, Rena~ I need to serve my energy to teach you both soulmist projection after all~" Kouri took Rena's hand again and began floating back.

"B-but, what about the him?" Rena couldn't help but looked back at the poor sod being used as a training dummy.

"Oh~ Dunno, don't care~" Kouri merely waved her hand, this answer was no surprise to Rena anymore; she just kept silent and let herself be led by Kouri.

Three chimes later, the ghostly sisters were back to Yuri's location; Kouri beamed Yuri a happy grin "I'm done! Let's go train Tendril thingy now!"

[Bronze Woods] Morbid Festivities (Yuri)

Postby Yuri Forsin on June 22nd, 2013, 10:49 pm

With Rena holding tightly to Yuri, the male ghost absentmindedly wrapped his right arm gently about the young girl ghost as he waited for Kouri to possess the hunter. Yuri'spast enthusiasm was gone, now replaced by a weary concern for the siblings. He prayed that Kouri would never fall any deeper into insanity, but Yuri himself knew, that was not possible. The ghost girl will only fall deeper...

A child-like giggle from the hunter alerted Yuri of Kouri's success. It was very disturbing to hear such words coming from the possessed man's mouth. Seeing the slight difficulty Kouri had in standing up, Yuri could see there was at least one skill he surpassed the little girl in. A cold comfort really, as she could still shred Yuri to pieces if she wanted to.

Yuri momentarily frowned as Kouri/Hunter enthusiastically beckoned for Rena and himself to play with her. Could she not see that she had just created such a heavy and tearful mood mere chimes ago? This was not like before when they had played so joyfully earlier, far from it, and Yuri had little desire to play this time. Maybe if some time passed he would push back the recent outburst away and find the spirit to enjoy himself, but not now. Not now that he had seen the gentle girl's cruel instability of mind.

The musician's ghost noticed Rena's bracing herself as she was playfully pulled away by her older sister, who has by now seemingly reverted to her cheerful and girlish personality. It seemed Rena had learned not to upset the older, albeit more unstable, Kouri after experiencing first-hand the sheer anger of her insane side. Yuri thought this with sad realization, and also made a note mentally... to be careful himself around Miss Kouri.

Silently, Yuri watched Kouri/Hunter and Rena float off elsewhere to play around, leaving the male ghost by himself. Sighing, Yuri floated tiredly in the air as he watched the two run about in the woods. The possession had not drained him of his soulmist especially much, but Yuri knew that soulmist projection would be a different story. Now that Kouri had calmed, Yuri hoped that this would go over without any further difficulties or outburst from Kouri.

A few chime passing by, Yuri looked up to see the ghost sisters returning, but Kouri was in her ethereal form now. He raised an eyebrow questioningly at Kouri, "Now, Miss Kouri, I hope you didn't leave the hunter lying around in the woods... did you?" She probably did... why was I expecting that?

Sighing once again and shaking his head, Yuri chuckled lightly and returned a hastily mustered smile at Kouri. "Well, I'm sure he'll wake up soon. Now... what do we practice with? Sticks? Rocks? Er..." Yuri looked about for anything else, "Emm, weapons?" Gray soulmist began jutting out of Yuri's form in small tendrils, though it could hardly compare to Kouri's ability.
