Closed (Fox Starseer) A New Arrival, An Old Friend

[Ariann]

Ariann paused. She hesitated for a long while, staring at the man. His sister was taken. She thought to herself, Being taken is basi. Rik'kiel would not like that. I should not like that. She drew in a breath and blinked, realizing she had stalled. "I would offer to help you, Fox, and find your sister, but I am unsure if I would be help at all. I can do nothing besides cause harm to myself and heal others." She replied sadly, her smile fading as she turned away, facing the water. "I enjoy being with Ricky. That is all I know so far." She answered his question solemnly, her hands clasped tightly together.

[Fox Starseer]

"It's good of you to offer your assistance, and healing others would be good, I mean a healer is always useful" Fox said, placing his hand on hers. "But I heard you can't stay out of the water for to long, isn't that right?" he asked. He placed his other hand under her chin and lifted her head, so he could look her in the eyes.

Ariann allowed him to rest his hand on hers and lift her chin, but she didn't look at him. Her eyes drifted off to the side in a distant manner, a frown beginning to surface on her blue lips, her cheeks a vibrant purple blush. She swallowed lightly and nodded as much as he would let her with his finger beneath her chin. "It is true. A few weeks at most, if I have frequent trips to the sea." She explained, her eyes returning to meet his gaze. Her deep emerald eyes seemed to have a longing in them already, as if the mere moments out of the water caused her to want to return home. "Tell me... what is it like to have siblings?" She asked with a sad tone.

Fox noticed she sounded said, and moved his hand from under her chin. "I'm sorry if I upset you" he said. "And having siblings is nice, they can be annoying sometimes, but it's nice to have someone close to you who's somewhere near your age" he said. "And no matter how annoying they are, they will always love you, and you'll always love them" he added. He looked out at the water, then back to Ariann. "Me and my sister always loved swimming in the lakes where we come from when we could, we'd take any chance we could get to go to a lake with one of our cousins and go swimming" he said, after a couple of minutes.
