Evening of the 31st of Summer, 513 As the waves rocked her catamaran, Tsukiko gazed at the planks above her, wondering to herself how long she would stay in this city of Knights. She was not used to staying in one spot for so long, and could not believe that she stayed, however, every time she decided to leave, some part of her held her back, one that she could not understand. Sighing in discontent, she rolled onto her side, adjusting her sleeping gear until she was comfortable, and closed her eyes; she would consider such thoughts later. Without being aware of exactly when it occurred, the Ethaefal slipped into a deep slumber, the gentle sound of waves offering their own comfort. Falling. A sensation she could not exactly get used to, despite the frequency of which it happened. This is to say, she often found herself falling into dreams, when she was conscious of them at least. Perhaps it had to do with how she had came to exist in Mizahar, but then, who could say? At that moment, she landed on her back with a thump. Taking a few moments to gather her barrings, she opened her eyes to see where she had come to this time. Tsukiko did not have to squint, for it appeared to be night time, the Moon high in the sky, though she blinked a few times. Trees surrounded her, reminding her of the night she had met the Ethaefal, Eida. This time though, mist hung in the air, shimmering softly in the moonlight, giving it a feeling of unearthliness. The Ethaefal lifted her hair, only to find that it was the black of her celestial form. Reaching higher, she felt the horns that curled near her temples, which would be varied shades of emerald; beginning from the tips, they would be a light shade of green, slowly darkening until they met with her head, merging into the blackness of her hair. These were the colourings her nightly form took during the summer season. Rising to her feet, she briskly brushed herself off, grass clinging to her clothing, as she had landed in a clearing. The grass was rather long, reaching just above her waist; as if it was not used to having creatures roam through it. As she did this, Tsukiko heard a sound, and paused to listen, slowly sliding her hand to her waist, to where her crescent sword resided. All was quiet as she waited for whatever had caused the noise to break the silence that ensued. oocHope this is alright, if there's anything that you think needs to be fixed, just let me know ^^ |
