Fish market
Ah, there was nothing like the smell of Zeltivan fish being cooked in the morning. All the salt tickled his nose from the wind and brought a smile to his face. Only Zeltiva can make fish look appetizing any way that it is cooked. Gale couldn't imagine any place that could do a better job then these fisher man. They were almost like a work of art themselves. Only you ate them and admire their deliciousness instead of watching it and eventually getting bored and walking away. Maybe he should become a cook...
With his frail hands in his pocket and his bag on his bag, the artist walked along the streets with a hidden smile within the creases of his face. The start of the season hasn't been the best but that doesn't mean the rest will. Today looked promising and Gale planned on embracing that promise for once. That was until a boy screamed and caught his attention. Whipping around towards the fearful cry, Gale froze as someone jabbed him in the face and gut and pull him into the alley.
What was this city coming to?! Never had he thought that Zeltiva would be reduced to beating children! The world is coming to an end, he just knows it! Gah, how could people be so idiotic? It's just a boy!
It might be over reacting, but Gale knew perfectly well how dangerous it was in an alley when people intended to do harm. Whether they planned on just beating the boy or if they wanted to kill him, he wouldn't give it a cold shoulder. With a mixture of pity and rage, the man turned around in circles in attempts to spot a Waveguard. The artist knew perfectly well he was no fighter and there was no chance he could take on a thug alone. They would have to be seriously incapable of fighting in order to get taken down by 'Gale The Artist Who Doesn't Do Anything'. But it would be his luck that none nearby. There was one in the distance but by the time Gale got the Waveguards attention and return to the alley, the men could have already taken the lad somewhere else. Or worse. He had to think of something! Come on Gale, think! Think! Skimming the crowd, it seemed as though many weren't all the fighting type. But they didn't need to be, in reality, they just had to be qu- Kelp Beer's stench, that's it!
Grabbing the nearest person abruptly by the shoulder, the man growled,"What's the big idea!?"
Not hesitating to answer, the blonde rushed his words,
"Please sir, there is a boy who may be in serious trouble. Go get a Waveguard and tell them to go down that alley." He pointed towards the direction he saw the men take the lad.
"But I-" The stranger lifted a finger to protest.
"I am not asking you!" He glared with his raving blue eyes. With only his faith to trust, Gale left the man be and rushed through the crowd towards the alley. Upon entering, the murderer got a good look at the three men for the first time. One was large. And not in the sense of fat either.
Shyke, this was a horrible idea. The was a very, very bad idea. This was an extremely bad idea. What was he doing?! Helping a kid out, yes, but was he really willing to risk his own health for it?
"Hey!" Yes. Yes he was.
"Now I do not care what the kid did to you but why not pick on someone your own size!" The baritone voice bellowed in bitter fury. Although his appearance wasn't all that intimidating, maybe the utter rage in his face and voice would aid him in his attempts? Ha! Like that would ever work.
He was dead. He was so dead.
