Summer 32, 513 AV, Midday
------------------------------------
A bright day it was indeed, it seemed that Syna was affectionate and wanted to show her love. The sun was beating down, not two hot, but definitely something for someone who had just woke up moments ago. K was surprisingly early, yet he was understandably late, for he was supposed to be at the training grounds bells ago. Of course he was going now, but he had to make some stops earlier, they were mandatory. Picking up drugs, picking up money, picking up women... For later. Yes sir, he was a busy man, this training was just another thing to him. Although since he was aspiring to be a knight, perhaps training should've been his number one, but of course he didn't care to digress into such topics. He was almost there anyway.
K had been fully dressed up, for combat that was, unarmed at that. Silk white boxing shorts, white high tops, and short white ankle socks. His tee shirt was simple thin white cotton, although he was prepared to take it off, and get to work. His gloves of course, were white knuckle-less and fresh, the insides being silk on his hands. He rode atop of a borrowed horse from the stables, a simple brown horse, he couldn't exactly tell what it was, but nor did he care. It was a horse, fully saddled and reigned, by yours truly. He was close to the entrance, trotting at a simple speed, not in a rush at all. He clutched the horse's reigns lightly, both hands held up in dominant position, separated by about half a foot. His forearms being toasted by the warm sun, he hoped he wasn't growing some awkward tan, that would be disastrous. His feet lightly tapping the horse's sides with every small bump and jump, he was cruising lightly, it seemed this horse was experienced. He leaned his body to the right, causing the horse to turn upon his will, slowly sliding back into position.
The sound of the horse's hooves changed, going from cobblestone to a new type of ground. K looked up as he was approaching the entrance to the grounds, looking down at knights walking, holding his nose high for impressions. He strutted as he trotted in, his posture up and back straight, elegance was an understatement. Upon entering fully, he moved past the other attractions, knowing exactly where the people waiting for him would be. Moving past the archery ranges, mock halls, and other various trainings. Finally, he stopped as he looked at a small field of grass, seeing a bunch of figures in the distance. He approached happily, back still straight but excited to get down and make an entrance. A bunch of knights, squires and sword masters watching two go off. Tukai the breaker and Ser Corben. It was a good battle from what K saw, and he was sure it didn't just start, not because of what he saw. Ser Corben was sweating a lake, his bodily fluids dripping down his face, his face showed signs of stress.
They were giving a test of their unarmed strength, the sounds of their body were loud, but the crowd was awkward. No loud cheers like at a rowdy bar, it was more honorable and subtle, it had meaning. All that were seen were encouraging nods, a couple whispers of knights telling their squires to pay attention, it was actually pretty nice. Ser Corben came in heavy with a wide right, his hand coming down hard, swiping through the air. Tukai instinctively ducked, effectively blocking the blow, ready for another which did come. Ser Corben stepped up halfway in his swing, canceling his punch like an expert, forcing it to stop. His left flew in with a mirror hook, except this one had a bit more cut in the air, flying in with it. Tukai bobbed her head back, looking as the fist barely missed her nosed, she was using just enough energy. Ser Corben snapped another punch out, a right straight flying forward, taking less than a split from the decay of his last punch.
Tukai seized the opportunity, finally moving forward and meeting his punch, using her skill to her full advantage. She slid her body on his side, a successful dodge that allowed her to glide her head on right side, successfully gaining leverage. Quick hands grasped his forearm and bicep, seizing the arm he had thrown out, as he tightly had a grip. She held her leg out in front of him, as she pulled him forward, thus tripping him. Ser Corben flew forward, quickly slamming a foot down to catch his balance, he wasn't gonna let her just have her way. He lowered his center of gravity, spinning clockwise and delivering a leg sweep, his chance. Forcing Tukai to jump, he leapt forward, using his body as a self catapult. He came with another straight, which Tukai saw coming, and she quickly countered. Falling down to the ground, she turned her body fully around, exposing her back. She leant herself, officially dodging the punch, and once again grabbing it with her hands. She thrusted her butt back, knocking off Ser Corben's center of gravity in the process, her plan. She then pulled him in, over her right shoulder, launching his body over her.
Ser Corben flew but quickly retaliated, his left hand catching the ground as if it was a cartwheel, he finished planting both feet on the floor. Before standing up, he sprung out to her, as if he was going to spear her with his shoulder. Tukai, who wasn't intimidated, took his challenge and caught him in midair. She had fought a bit, but successfully sprawled his takedown attempt, it was getting intense. She grabbed his by shoulders, using them like handle bars, flinging him a bit. Until she dropped, a new grip around his neck, she had him in a headlock. Ser Corben dropped right up under her, collapsing on the ground, she finally locked it in tight. After a few seconds, Ser Corben tapped, cheers instantly erupting throughout the crowd.
K took it as a chance to introduce himself, well more like announce his presence, as he turned and raised the reigns. Sliding up his feet, he turned his body to the side, sliding off of the horse. With a quick thud on the floor, his feet patted down, all the knights and squires turning as his voice rang. "Hey ladies." K said addressing everyone the same, although he was looking mainly at his patron, who just got done giving his mother. "I didn't know you could lose Ser Corben, especially to her," He pointed to his mom, his thumb pointing her out. "With such a weak technique?"
Squires and knights turned to see the most arrogant of the order, his smile was pompous, but he was known to be able to back it up. "Hey boy... Glad you could finally make it." Ser Corben said sarcastically as his hand found it's way to K's head, rubbing it violently as he smiled, he was happy to see his squire.
[i] "Your late... Good morning baby." Tukai said as she noticed her son come up, a small smile trying to form, she didn't want to anger him today.
"Hey ma... Good morning to you too." K said a bit happily, his mood was actually nice today, he was in a good mood. "So, what was that all about anyway?" He said, arching an eyebrow, the rest of the knights and squires talking amongst themselves. He was told to come here by his mom, he had no idea that there would be so many people, but for what.
"Well... We were waiting for you, and we got bored... So we decided to fight.
"What?!" K said totally confused.
"No Kise, what she is trying to say is that she told you to come way earlier. You never came, so we did grow tired of waiting, in the end we decided to have a friendly spar."
"Yeah ok I get that much but..." K gestured everywhere, pointing out the small crowd of people around. "What the hell is up with these guys?"
"Haha!" Ser Corben let out a hearty laugh, smiling as he scratched his arm a bit. "Well, it's not everyday we get to see Tukai the breaker fight! It would've been something to see her box though, because she's legendary. Although, she won't box anyone unless they have a good reason. Tis' a shame aye?" Ser Corben glanced, looking at K then Tukai, and back to K. "Kise, today, your gonna get some good training ok?" He turned his attention to the small crowd. "You guys wanna see some boxing?!" He roared, cheering and clapping with the crowd as he joined them, smiling as he looked at K. "Good luck boy."
K looked at everyone with an uninterested look, his was full of boredom, he was a bit ashamed of his patron. "I really don't want to..." He turned to look as his mother, who was hardly wearing anything appropriate. A dam white bra, baggy white shorts, and she was wrapping up her hand in of course white bandages. "Ma! What the fu-
"Kise... You ready to box... No?" Tukai said blankly, speaking broken common, looking at him happily. Her smile was adorable, she really did care about her son, she just had a weird way of showing it. "I'm ready when you are baby..." She walked up to her son, leaning in and kissing him on the lips, walking off briskly.
K's face showed he was utterly shocked, looking at his mom walk away swiftly, his lips burning. "Mom..." He mumbled. "We can't do that anymore, I'm not five." He was on the verge of crying and whining, as he stretched his body, turning his attention to himself. He crouched down, resting his chin on his right knee, retying his shoe. He fixed the laces, switching to the other shoe, he loved what he owned. Finally standing up, he looked at his mom proudly, his smile was calm and confident. He knew he was the better boxer, he practiced more, and he worked harder. Stepping up, the both began, he instantly observed his mother's stance. South paw, with that right waiting to launch, it was scary, he knew he would have to watch out for it. He went into a half crouch, instantly staying orthodox, his back hunched slightly and his body swaying. Try both took steps forward, the crowd roared and cheered, it was time for some action.
Right of the bat, they began to circle each other counter clockwise, for many reasons of course. He tried to relax, to stay in the fighting mood but not go over the edge. He was disturbed as he stared into his mother's eyes, they were dull and plain, he wondered why she always looked like that. Perhaps she just didn't care, perhaps she just was a fighter with a fighter's face, minus the scars of course. Her face was flawless, her body was youthful, yet she was still in a rush for grandchildren. To K, she was an odd woman, a very odd woman.
As they took steps closer, the circle collapsed on itself, it was about time. Instantly, K through a jab, slow and playful just feeling his mother out. She returned with a jab, lightning speed, K barely dodged it by tilting his head. This spar was serious, and the crowd wanted to see true boxers, that's what he would give them. He stepped in and begun an assault, starting with a simple right hook, following a left jab. His mother instantly caught on in the change of pace, dodging the hook and parrying the jab, it was her turn. She stepped up, pushing his left jab away, and threw two right jabs.
By the time that K's right hand retracted, she was already coming in with her jabs, his right hand rose to the occasion. Rising up, he barely blocked both, as they definitely pushed into his forearm. Taking ghat opportunity, K stepped up with his right, a half drop step, as he unleashed a deadly right uppercut, blazing northwest. Tukai saw it coming, and slid down, bobbing and ducking at the same time. Exactly what K wanted, he leapt up just a bit, and did the exact opposite of his uppercut. Literally an arcing bolo punch, coming from his back to the earth, his left hand was speeding. Tukai was definitely shocked by the move, for it wasn't boxing, it was simple brutal streetfighting.
Although it was impressive, she quickly caught on, sliding and shifting her body to the right. K's punch grazed her cheek, but she rose up with a hook that hit him right on the button, quickly sending force to his face. K's knees buckled as he dropped, falling to his hands and knees as his mom walked back to her "corner", she knew exactly what she was doing. K tried to regain his composure as he was on the ground, the crowds roars not letting up, he was being yelled at to get up. Slowly, he shivered and trembled as he got up, it was just a lucky punch. He stared down his mom, who was staring back with her arms at her sides. "Hey ma... That punch hit ya huh?" He said with a grin, as he put his fist back up, seeing her nod. "That's good... This time I'll make sure I end it." He stepped up as his mother did, and round two commenced, the crowd cheering him on, they were ready to see a fight.
The small smile that had formed on his face was drained, quickly replaced by a determined scowl, boxing was about this. Wanting to see your opponent go down, making him respect you and wish he never chose to step into the ring, to give him your identity with your fist. This was boxing. Not hesitating, skill banged in, and fist began flying. K stepping in with a pair of left jabs, banging forward his right hand, shooting a rocketing straight. Tukai simply blocked the first two jabs, then seeing the right come forward, she sidestepped with a crouch, sending her own jab to his right torso. She rose up with an uppercut, except K quickly caught on, foiling her plans with a heavy grunt. His body pivoted off his right foot, turning through the new found pain, which was odd. It didn't hurt, he barely felt it, when he remembered a time where one jab to his body would've dropped him.
This in itself gave him further inspiration, further inspiration to win this match, after all that's how he needed it to be. With him on top, and his mother quitting from his massive hands destroying her perfect face, with that being said... He still pivoted off of his right, swinging his body to align with her step, matching up to her. His right arm tucked and swung up into a wing, finally covering his face as he parried the blow, catching Tukai off guard. Finally, he had an opening. Sliding away his right, his left hand shot forward, launching in and smacking her face with a jab. Quickly, as if bouncing off, it retracted a fourth of the way and smacked her once more. K quickly brought his hand back, for he had never punched his mom... In the face.
It wasn't right, it wasn't natural, and now he was scared. He saw her hands drop, she looked like she was devastated, and shocked. Her hands flew up to cover her face, it looked like she was about to cry, and then she did. Sniffles and little cries elicited out, and instantly K's hands dropped, as he felt bad. "Gods... Mom I told you I didn't wanna fight..." He murmured, feeling awful, he slowly began to walk up to her. He wanted to apologize, this wasn't supposed to be like this, he wasn't actually supposed to hit her. "Mom, I actually feel pretty bad, I just wanted to-"
SMACK!
K's neck twisted as a flash hook sent him looking backwards, his body pivoting as it flung around, it happened so fast. His left cheek instantly stung from a blind right hook, as he collapsed and smacked the ground, the knights roaring and cheering from the change in moves. He could hear them whispering, giving their advice to squires, using him as an example. He didn't rest on the ground, that punch also didn't hurt much, it was just lucky. His body trembled a bit, just because of the thought of his mother's punch, but he quickly shook it. Getting to a knee, he stared at his mom, looking at her with a smug look saying 'really?'.
"Kisetukai..." Tukai said slowly as she retracted her arm at lightning speeds, slowly looking at her son in the eyes, she had a few choice words. "That was an amazing set of punches, you really amazed me and caught me of guard, but then you failed. You had me, and you stopped because of fake crying? What if you were outside of the city, in a real fight, against another woman of the enemy? What if she tried to seduce you, then stab you in your sleep?!" She tried to lecture as good as possible, hoping her older son would be more serious.
"Well... That sounds a bit rash." K said as he stood up, smiling and putting up his fist, ready for round three. "Tell me ma... Is she hot?" He chuckle a bit between his teeth, hoping that he annoyed her, he could care less about what she was saying.
"Kise, you continue to disappoint me sometimes... You may be joking now, but in the future, you would be wise to pay attention to what I say. Or you would end up like your father..."
"Tch..." K grunted a bit at the mentioning of his father, the last person he wanted to think about, a sad man he was. K wanted nothing to do with him, for he wasn't even a true Yamehaka, he wasn't anybody to him. Immediately, K opened his mouth, not wanting to waste another second. He was tired of talking, now he just wanted to punch, his hands burning with energy. "Enough talk mother, let's go." He smacked his fist together, the pain feeling good as hell, he was ready.
[color=red] Tukai looked down upon her son with disapproval, it seemed they were having two battles, physical and mental. Now she was sure what she had to do, she had to end this with a lesson, her boy was impatient. Actually, to her Kisetukai was a lot of bad things, but for now impatient would serve. "Very well then my boy, but since you seem to be such a man, I will strike you as such. This is no longer a boxing match, it is a fight, not a spar. It will end when someone is unable to continue. Either by exhaustion, injury, or... Death." Her words were unrelentless, she didn't even hesitate on her words, after all the were cold yet true. She meant to intimidate, which was natural, now she wanted to teach. Of course she wasn't gonna kill her son, but if hurting him was necessary, then she would. Instantly after tilting her head on both sides, thus initiating loud pops and cracks, she charged her son.
Final round... Fatality?

A bright day it was indeed, it seemed that Syna was affectionate and wanted to show her love.
Fatality?
