[Iron Fist School]Ready, Set, Fight![Ohirin]

His attempt at pushing his foe back, messing up his balance, throwing him off his game, all worked. His onslaught kept coming, far faster than the petty swordsman was able to defend, one blocked, two blocked, was blocking all he knew how to do? He would really need to give him a lesson in defense, as there were more ways to stop a blow from hitting you than just directly blocking it.

Bones was almost not aware as he saw his foe crumble, he was already moving to do the next blow, expecting him to keep going. He had not expected to knock him out. He had just begun to enjoy himself...

It took him a tick to realize his foe was not reacting, and was unconscious, and he was unable to stop his last blow, instead redirecting it so that it whizzed by his foe without touching. Not that he would know, being out cold.

By the time Bones foe, Ohirin, had come to, Bones had already gone back to the weapon rack, with his own practice blade and that of the longsword, and was putting them away.

As he set the wooden facsimiles of weapons down, he turned to the human groggily coming to on the floor.

"Well, ssat ssertainly could have gone better. You know, you really need to work on defenssse, blocking a blow is not sse only way to not be hit. Your ssstyle isss to much about brute force, no finesssse. Even if you have the ssstrengss to back it up, you mussst know how to wield ssat force for maximum resssult if you want to win. And when I forssed you to go on the defensssive, you nearly panicked, did not know what to do."

Bones headed back, picking up his waterskin, and taking a pull, before tossing it to Ohirin, whether he was still on the ground, or had stood up.

"Alright, ssso what isss nex-st? You sssaid you had anosser ssing you were good at, right? What do you choossse? And make sssure to word it very carefully, asss to what isss allowed. We will follow sse rulesss exactly, jussst like wiss mine."

Bones gazed at the human, a serious expression on his face. When he had chosen, he had said blades, but he did not say you could not use fists and other kinds of combat. A loophole which he had taken advantage of. He wondered how the human would word the next match, if he would try to manipulate things to serve his advantage, or not... He was uncertain if he had a preference either way. Since regardless, he would get a good match out of it.

"Alright, so what is next? You said you had another thing you were good at, right? What do you choose? And make sure to word it very carefully, as to what is allowed. We will follow the rules exactly, just like with mine."
Bones is a Constrictor Dhani. He likes to eat meat. He also has some speech problems.

When he speaks, a double s (ss) means a [th] sound, that he cannot say.

A triple s (sss) means just an [s], but it is extended in his speech.

[Iron Fist School]Ready, Set, Fight![Ohirin]

When Ohirin came to on the floor he was confused and surprised. He knew that he had been sparing, blade versus blade before he had fallen and that his head was hurting quite a bit. He quickly moved to sit up and look around at what had happened, trying to locate everything in the room. It was clear that the practice blades had been put away and that the man he was sparring with had launched into a lesson about his lack of defense and the things he need to improve on, things Ohirin decided to keep in mind for his practicing. Ohirin was not upset about the way the fight had played out, it was clear that his opponent was just much better than he was.

It was about that time that Bones tossed the waterskin to the now standing Ohirin, which Ohirin caught with very little challenge. Ohirin took a long draw from the skin while listening to Bones telling him to describe, carefully and exactly, the next competition. "Wrestling, no blades or striking. Just wrestling." Ohirin said before pitching the skin back to Bones. He was satisfied with his description and got into his stance, legs about shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent, arms held in front of him protecting his legs, and the toe of his right foot about two inches in front of the toe of his left. He waited for his opponent to join him.
OOCThank you for being patient, it has been a bit hectic for me lately, and I haven't had a lot of time to get on here.

[Iron Fist School]Ready, Set, Fight![Ohirin]

Bones was not overly surprised to hear that his foe had made the rules of the next match to his own advantage. It was a simple enough thing to do, if not practical in the real world. For in a fight, it was always anything goes, to the victor the spoils and to the loser, death...

That was one reason Bones fighting abilities were so diverse, he knew he needed to be able to fight in many different ways, in many different situations. His various fighting skills tended to overlap some, but each had its own time, and served a purpose. And often when you combined them all at once, much more could be done than could be done in one specific style.

Bones put away his waterskin, and turned to the man, ready to wrestle, to just wrestle, by his rules... He was certainly not as skilled at wrestling as he was simple unarmed combat, or with his gladius, but he was not bad at it either.

Only time would tell if their skills were far enough apart in it, that it would lead to his failure. Though considering his martial prowess in blades, he somehow doubted he was a master of wrestling. So he likely stood a decent chance.

Bones stood and readied himself, he also bent his knees, but then he put his arms up in front of his chest palms outward, elbows bent at nearly a 90 degree angle. He also did not face directly at him, but stood at an angle, his body turned slightly away from being directly at him. His head though was still keeping him inside of his sights.

He made a "come" motion with his left hand, and waited for his foe to make the first move. Perhaps he could figure out how skilled he was, and how he fought, at least to a degree, by his opening gambit. Or perhaps he would just out and out rush him. Leverage was the key in wrestling it, gaining it, and taking it from ones foe... This he knew all to well. Though most of his wrestling had occurred while in the form of a giant snake, or in his dhani form.
