A half-collapsed city of alabaster and gold fiercely governed by Eypharians. Even partially ruined, it is the crown of the desert and a worthy testament to old glories and rising powers.

Day ?? of ??, AV ???

Ahnatep. This glorious city jabbed itself like a thorn into Juraa's hip. The place, he'd visited it many times before in his years of exile, and never had the city grown on him in any favorable ways. The water was a nice relief from the feet-scorching sands, but the harsh racist personalities of those around were difficult to swallow. Juraa was not a prideful man, and even he felt wronged by the citizens of Ahnatep. And to think, they did little more than look down on him, call him "Dog" in their own languages, and simply turned their backs on him unless they felt he could be used to their advantage.

Juraa stalked silently through the city. His sandals clapping faintly on the stone paths under him as he moved. Spear in one hand and guiding Sorrin the Camel with the other. Juraa was immediately pointed out as a foreigner, and specifically, Benshira. He had learned many times in his past visits to Ahnatep that his people were, once-upon-a-time, slaves here. Many of the multi-armed divas felt that Juraa deserved no other title. Slave. Repulsive title. Juraa would rather die that be at the mercy of an Eypharian. Selfish and arrogant, false kings and queens in their own eyes. Hedonistic fools.

A sigh passed through his lips, though muffled by the red fabric that cloaked his head, along with most of his body. He shook his head slowly. It was wrong to think the whole race was like that. He knew there had to be "Good" Eypharians out there somewhere. Few that they may be, there were enough to not condemn a whole race. If he did that, he'd be no better than the racists he scorned.

The walk lasted a while longer as a group of four Eypharians walked past Juraa, making sure to give him a vicious shove as they did. Even with his spear in hand, they felt they were untouchable, unable to be scratched by a foreigner, a "Slave". Juraa wanted to run them through, make a point they'd never live to regret. That was unwise. He shook his head again. "Benachag." He thought he had whispered it to himself, but as the words left his lips, one of the four Eypharians stopped in his tracks and turned his head to look over his shoulder, directly towards Juraa.

Juraa felt his hand tighten on his spear. He feared he had made an enormous mistake, insulting an Eypharian (who apparently knew enough Shiber to understand), in their home city. Luckily, the Eypharian merely spit at Juraa's feet and gave him a warning by pointing at him with one of his many arms. "Watch your tongue, Benshira."

The threat was made and the multi-armed people left Juraa to ponder the situation. He was lucky, and he knew it. Any crimes committed on him would most likely be overlooked. He was filth in their eyes. Being in exile was difficult. He felt he'd never really grow accustomed to it.
