Kyra felt a bit more rested now as she laid still, limbs motionless and her rising chest, the only movement upon her body. Her heartbeat had settled, it's beat slower and calmer than before and her aching limbs were able to relax from the strain she placed upon them before. Bending her knees, she pulled them closer to her chest and looked out into the floor where the woman was. There was a crimson ring of fiery gold reflected in her eyes from the burning heat, a glow that turned from red to a fading green depending if she turned her head towards or away from the burning light.
"I am fine, maybe I will eat something later, but for now I'd like to rest here."
The woman had a strange way of talking, though Kyra had already noticed before. But from the way that she spoke, it was as if she didn't need food at all. How could that be, she wondered, it had to be a mistake on her part. The girl did get confused often when dealing with the ways of humans and since many of them weren't much alike, it wasn't hard to see why. Isolde was another strange one, but given the fact that she was so tired made her question this less.
"You are different, but it's not a bad thing I don't think. You are you after all."
The kelvic yawned softly, fingers and toes stretching as she arched her back and pushed out her legs. It had been a long day and even longer night. She could imagine that she would sleep soundly that night if she ever allowed herself to sleep. "It is hard to trust people. I understand that. But...some people can. They trust openly and with many people, and then there's people like you and me, people who can't find the trust that others have. It is disappointing."
Kyra hadn't expected the woman to train with a dagger to fight. So far fighting seemed like it was foreign to her, or at least something she hated doing. But Kyra could understand the need for protection, she too needed it. "Do you train in the forest...like the squires do?" It was always weird when she would spot a lone squire in the forest training by themselves. She would have thought they'd prefer the city where their people and bunches of armor could help them out. But these few seemed to enjoy training alone and away from the city.
"I..see that you do not like violence, but it is a part of the world, yes? There is nothing to be done about it."
