Here is my long hello.

My name is Elaina and some people call me Ella or just the simple, E. My PC's name is Zelenia and already some have nicknamed me with the shorter version, Zele or just Zel. When I first started RP I was about 14 and I'd just go on RP communities and do things like "Adventure RP" or "Medieval RP" or RPs for whatever show I was currently infatuated with. After dabbling in it for a while I discovered what a creative outlet it could be! If I was having a bad day I could just go and get away or if I felt like the people around me couldn't live up to my crazy-ness there are always people to RP with that would have that slight edge of insanity which I just can't get enough of. I am now slightly older and this will be around my second year of RPing. I simply thought I could use more substance while also improving/learning writing skills. Two birds with one stone! I found Mizahar by searching like crazy on Google! I would find RP forums and read through them, as well as whatever background they possessed, which in most cases was none. I kept searching and pretty soon stumbled upon the amazing community of Mizahar! With its large selection of Lore and crazy, creative character possibilities, I found it amazing. What really pushed it over the edge for me was the fact that all of the fluffy fantasy that is so overwhelming was discouraged, if not banned. No sparkly vampires and kids who pretend to be skateboarding werewolves?! Heaven? I think so. Which RP style...well, I love anything as long as it is well thought out and contains some sort of substance. If I had to choose a favorite style, I would go with anything in a neutral good Alignment with anything adventurous. Long journeys, rescues, fights, and quests are a few examples. A little bad is always good though. (hope I answered that one correctly, as in the nature of the question!) My favorite thing about Mizahar, so far, is how helpful everyone is. Even though I haven't had the time to actually RP yet, everyone was very helpful and there is a great vibe! I am very much looking forward to doing my first RP here as well. I would love to gain an elegant writing style from RPing here. To be able to use my words in ways that people are only ever able to read, never expressing it for themselves. That level of beauty in writing, as well as a truly creative outlet, is the true prize for me. I've noticed how I keep going back to the topic of creative outlets! Just for a little information about myself for you all, creativity is a thing that I believe is EXTREMELY overlooked in today's culture. People will say that they are creative, but when that creativity is a manufactured, industrialized creativity it is no better than buying it off of a shelf. What I mean by that is, saying creativity is simply being able to draw or pick out good music. Creativity is more than that. It is a chance to be unique, to create things out of nothing, to expand on a person's own inner beauty and character. It is amazing, and it is fading. Hasn't spongebob taught us anything? Imagination! Sorry for the rant I look forward to communicating with you all!

I'm actually back after a long break myself, but this place is so addictive I can't seem to stay away. I think it's like that for most people.

Everyone here is so nice and helpful. Then there's all of the amazing lore and the fact that they constantly update everything. I so love it here! I'm sure you will too.
