[Great Harbor]A Ghostly Introduction(Shiyami)

Postby Carvezia on August 13th, 2013, 6:17 pm

2nd of Summer, 513AV

It was a little past the 7th bell and the sun just began to rise. Men and women of human and svefra origin were already at the harbor working on a large array of duties. Some were setting up to sail while others were loading up cargo and some even pulling they're ships into the harbor. The wind blew swiftly which made it a great day to set sail.

Carvezia was up early, wondering around and examining the ships which she was very impressed by. The girl had been on multiple barges, sloops and even a few galleons but these ships she was generally acustomed to. The ships that impressed her were the svefra ones, they are very rare but usually owned by a svefra captain and his or her crew. Carvezia has always wondered about those ships and the people that occupy them. The half-benshirian girl grew up around ships and has seen them sail hundereds of times but she has never lived on a ship or even been out to sea. Though the svefra live on the sea, fishing to eat, playing on the top deck to cure they're boredom and sleeping in tight bunks every night which is why Carvezia admired them.

As she witnessed a svefra woman climb above deck on her own docked ship, Carvezia climbed up a large crate to get a peak at her. The crate was only a little taller than she was and the twenty year old struggled to reach the top but once she did, she rolled on to her back while propping her self up on her arms. Now getting a better look at the woman, Carvezia quickly realized that she was topless. This isn't uncommon for a svefra but for a human or benshira, public nudity is unheard of. Her eyes quickly drifted down to the svefra's breasts without a blink. After a few chimes of her rude staring she realizes the svefra woman is looking back at her with a disappointed expression on her face. Feeling a sense of embarrasment, Carvezia quickly jumped down from the crate and continued walking through the harbor.

[Great Harbor]A Ghostly Introduction(Shiyami)

Postby Shiyami on August 14th, 2013, 7:16 pm

Wandering about within the Great Harbor, Shiyami sighed. He rather missed the feel of water on his skin. "Four hundred years. It has been a long time, hasn't it?", he softly muttered, while looking at the waterline. Walking to wards the edge of the pier, he crouched down, before dipping his right hand underwater. As the water just fazed through his hand as if there was nothing there, he sighed again. Those who have met Shiyami before outside of combat, would be surprise to see him right now. He did not have his customary black box full of what not many knew about, and a small child named Kimi, on top of the box. He had left his box at his hill, since he did not believe that anyone would attack him at the Harbor, while his decision of leaving Kimi behind was rather obvious. Any harbors are usually rather known for the...vulgarity of speech, between sailors. And the fact that quite a few Svefrains are usually wandering about indecently. So, with that, Shiyami continue to watch the water rise and fall in rhythm.

[Great Harbor]A Ghostly Introduction(Shiyami)

Carvezia continued walking along along the harbor as she observes the large ships and their crews. There was nothing too interesting on the harbor that morning, people were yelling, a few were running and the harbors bells rung through out the area but this was daily routine.

Carvezia continued to wander as she looked down at the small waves calmly hit the dock which was covered in seaweed, mud and other things. She stared into the water as she slowed her pace greatly as sailers and dock workers ran around her as if she resembled the least bit of importance. Though she witnesses a young boy, "he dipped his hand in the water but didn't get wet? how is that possible" she thought as her eyes shot towards him. Carvezia has seen most races but never a ghost, even though they were often seen in Syliras the girl has never spotted one herself. Out of curiousity of what he was or what he was doing, Carvezia sat on a small crate and watched him as she tried to be inconspicuous.

Shiyami kept his hand in the water for half a chime or so, before pulling it back out. Sighing as he looked at his hand, and seeing not a drop of water on it. "Being dead may have its uses, yet there is no end to the list of downfalls.", he spoke quietly, in a sad tone. Standing up, he turned around, and was about to leave, when he realized he was being watched. He looked with his one open eye, blue as the water beside him, at the observer. From his observations, she looked human enough, and didn't seem to pose a danger to himself. Nodding in the woman's direction, he spoke aloud, "Find something of interest?", in a casual tone.
