It is an unassuming clay figurine weighing in at approximately three pounds. It appears poorly kept, with moss growing across the otherwise blemish-free gray "skin". A face, blank and expressionless, is generally turned downward in bemused discontent. It's body is exquisitely crafted, a stunning scale model of the human male anatomy with rounded hairless head and sculpted musculature. Were It to be a true statue, It would likely be lauded for the minute detail explicit in the figurine, where painstaking effort would have had to have been taken in order to bring to life the intricate knuckles and fingernails on the tiny hands. As It is indeed not just a clay figurine, an air of life, if solemn and tinged with melancholy, seems to permeate the essence of It.

Character Concept
Boiled down to his essence, Vitru is a very young Pycon, still plagues by the deep seated feelings of inadequacy that characterize his race. His early "years" were spent adventuring across Kalea until he was old enough to be considered independent. At that time, his parents gave him his heirloom Py-Pole to aid in his journeys and went their own way. Vitru spent the lion's share of his life amongst a motley crew of would be brigands. Most of his skills reflect this, and the fact that his small stature allowed him great skill with the precise manipulation required of intricate locks and gadgets. Being an object for most of his life, he has learned to simply answer to "It" and his demeanor reflects his subservience. Pycon curiosity has won out in the intervening months however, as he opened a small office in Syliras where he can try to bring to life fascinating toys and gadgets for all ages. He tries to make enough money to get by through an unofficial locksmithing trade, which is tumultuous at best, and provides him with almost no funding. The wanderlust is also beginning to strike at the little Pycon's soul and he wonders where his feet might lead him next...

Character History
While born of two parent Pycon, It was never given the opportunity to live among the Pyve. It's parents were bold adventurers when the time for the birth came, and It was to mature in the wildernesses and urban centers where his mother and father were to take him. Shortly after his maturation, It found itself attached to a group of adventurers which turned out to be nothing more than a band of simple thieves and murderers. It had no knowledge of legitimacy or independence, and was treated as a simple tool by the would-be burglars. A common use for It was to be placed near a target and to find It's own way inside. At a prearranged time, the little Pycon would then come out of hiding and allow the group free reign within the residence.

But It's life was fated to take a fortuitous turn when the band became far too bold for their own good and decided to take their blatant thievery to the metropolis of Syliras. Word of their intentions had arrived well ahead of the thieves, and Syliran Knights shadowed their every movement. The first night of their intended crime spree, the Knights surprised the thieves and apprehended them after a brief scuffle. None knew of the role the little Pycon played, however, as he had been squished up behind the door and forgotten when the Knights made their surprising entrance.

For the past season, It has been forced to fend for itself, attempting to locate a readily available source of clay and perhaps some way for him to ply his unique skillset and earn his place amongst the other, taller races. It used some of the money taken from previous endeavors to purchase a small office. The office may seem cramped to a human sized employee, but the Pycon was quite content using the office as a home and a workshop. Here It spends It's spare time working with intricate locking mechanisms and planning out innovative new gadgets. Gadgets which, once constructed, thus far have not functioned nearly as well as It hoped.
