OOC: Part of Skylar's jobbing threads, he's scamming innocent people for cash. Feel free to post if you're Naledi, otherwise... private, sorry :<
IC: Why, it was the most adorablest little girl crying at the side of a fountain, Skylar thought, as he glimpsed the most adorablest little girl crying at the side of a founation. "SURELY," He said, overstating his position somewhat, "In a city of such absolute goody-two-shoesiness as this here Syliras place, there's legions of people ready and willing to help out this crying little girl."
Skylar grinned beneath his pumpkin headed mask as he sat on a nearby wall, heels clicking together in perfect rhythm. "Oh wait, that's right. She's probably a-weepin' because the Knights took her mummy and da, and there's none who dare stand against them. A fascist state disguised behind the veneer of kindness conceals a key clue: No matter how you dress the trappings, such a system results inevitably in unforgivable sins such as this. Yes, none stand against the tyranny of Syliras. None save... Pumpkinhead!"
Skylar glanced around a bit to make sure nobody heard him, then he jumped down from the low wall and waltzed up to the fountain where the girl sat, crying in front of the fountain.

"Why little girly whirly, what seems to be trouble-doubling you?" He asked, his freakish pumpkin face bending down to look at her. The girl didn't exactly stop crying, but nor was fear her immediate response. The sight of Skylar walking around Syliras wearing a pumpkin's head had been common enough these last few weeks that most knew, if not who he was, at least that he was relatively harmless.
"Gasp! Pumpkinhead." She said. Perhaps he was something of a local legend among the children. After all, he spent many a lazy afternoon playing a game of kick the pig with the local youngsters, or telling them frightening stories and giving them hard riddles to solve.
Yet the jury was out on whether or not he was a benevolent trickster spirit or a malevolent demon.
"Why heulloooooo thar child! You know my name, Pumpkinhead Skylar, but that has me at a disadvantage."
"I'm Riza."
"Now Riza dearest, why are you shedding those poor sad tears?" Skylar asked, turning his head upside to simulate a frown on his grin-carved pumpkin face.
"Because my mommy is sad." She said, pouting.
"Oh, well why don't you take poor old Pumpkinhead to visit your mommy and fear her up, I mean... CHEER her up, of course." His static grin never flinched.
"I dunno, mommy said not to bring home strangers."
A hypnotic suggestion, her will was weak, she was just a child: "C'mon now, you can trust Ol' Pumpkinhead." He hissed.
