The trickster had hypnotized the group, and while their blood lust had calmed, many still said little to their guest. There were whispers in the camp, some calling the stranger a child, others saying she was right for the picking, and even a few that didn't like those of the Tempererd Steel. Saya wasn't against allowing Tin-tin to stick around for a while, but she wasn't impressed. Tin-tin had been welcomed a little too openly by some and she didn't like that the stranger was able to catch the fish so easily. In fact she was almost certain that Kurk had done it for her but allowed her to have the glory because he was smitten with her.
Mamoru sat with his legs crossed, hands lifted while Kurk wrapped bandages around them. The cuts from the twine weren't gruesome, but they did need wrapping to keep out infections. He stared at the Myrian, watching as he so gently took care of his wounded hands. The man was enjoying himself and was probably already imagining some life they might have together and the trickster couldn't wait to prove him wrong.
I hope you're enjoying yoursself monkey, becausse thisss won't lasst much longer!
The fish that he had painted the illusion over was staked by the fire along with a few others, while the real rainbow fish was tucked into the pocket of his loincloth. He had what he came for, and it was now time to leave. As much as he wanted to attack and slaughter the lot of them, the truth was that he was getting tired and had a long way to travel back to the nest. It would seem this time, the Dhani wouldn't get to play, but his prize fish was good enough for now. He had tricked the Myrians into letting him stay and fish, and then switched the fish so that he could have the rare one all for himself.
He needed to make an exit, but Kurk didn't look like he would allow it without a fight. That much was said as he rubbed his fingers back and forth over Mamoru's wrapped hands and said a prayer under his breath. He pulled his hands away quickly and glared at the Myrian. As much as he enjoyed toying with others, this one was too clingy and he had to go. Forcing another smile to his lips, Mamoru untucked his legs and stood up from the ground.
"Know what fruit berry is good for fish? Cocona, very juicy."
Kurk was still seated and took the moment to gaze upon the long muscular legs in from of him as he too thought of things that were juicy. "Right, those are very juicy, but I don't have any and I don't think they group near here."
Cocking his hip to the side, Mamoru folded his arms just beneath his heaving chest and smiled. "No is true, Tin-tin saw them. Will get them now, go good with rare fish."
He had seen the berries in the jungle before, but wasn't sure if they were near by and he didn't care. It was just an excuse to get away and if Kurk didn't follow, the trickster would simply wander off and never return. But his luck continued to teeter back and forth as Kurk jumped up and followed behind him. It was getting on his nervous and he could feel the man's hot breath on the back of his neck.
Get losst you dirty monkey!
Mamoru walked back into the dense jungle and eyed the bushes and undergrowth near the trees. The area did look familiar and he wondered if he would find the berries that he spoke of, or if he was now fooling even himself. There was a huge grin on Kurk's face, this being the first time he was alone with his beloved Tin-tin without Saya watching them. He moved up behind his companion and hugged her tightly and began smelling her hair. The eyes of the dhani widen as his blood crawled, and sent a strong shiver up his spine.
Get off me you jungle rat!
