Time Stamp : 34 Fall 513
The corral that the Amethyst clan kept their various horses and striders was out towards the edge of the camp, Taylani knew this from the time Fallan had forced her onto a strider. As she walked through the city, passing people setting up their family pavilions and various shops the light catches upon her brilliantly red hair, causing it to dance from red to spun gold and back to red. Her skirts billowed with the force of her walk, because she had a purpose. She knew Fallan had discussed getting her a horse from his family's herd, but that would end up being something he did, and she was tired of relying on him for every little thing.
So she took the last bit of miza's she had from her dancing in Syliras, put her leather pack on her back and headed out. She only hoped that the Amethyst clan would do well by her because she had been bought into the Amethyst clan, or because she was....associated..with Fallan. Her features were carefully blank, and as she came up to the fencing keeping the horses settled, but more to help keep out things that would sneak in she pulled to a stop.
There were many horses, and she immediately saw a roan that she liked, of course she didn't know that it was a roan or what it was. She wasn't even sure if it was male or female, or gelded at least not from here, but the animal was not as big as the striders she had seen, definitely not as big as Stormdancer. The horse was light in coloring but also in build, and it had the prettiest blonde mane. The horse also did not seem so intimidating.
Taylani stepped to the Drykas man that seemed to be taking care of the horses. She didn't recognize him, but he was wearing clothing that had a significant amount of purple in it so she assumed he was apart of the Amethyst clan. "Hello...Do you speak common?"
The man stops what he was doing and turned to Taylani, his brow quirks up when he recognized the red head. She was the one that was giving the Windchaser youngest boy fits, blue eyes roamed her up and down before he grinned at her. He could see why she would give any man fits, and if her temper was anything to match her red hair he didn't envy Fallan.
"Some. Know Fallan you here?" He asked warily, leaning against the fence post. His clothing was typical, and his features was only average at best. But he had three surviving children which was more then some could boast of so he stood tall.
"No. Does it matter?" Taylani asked, almost as a challenge, her hands resting on her hips. "I have money. I want a horse. And..one of those ..things .." she flapped her hand at the Yvas that was draped across the fence. She knew that people in Syliras used saddles, but here they used those things. A saddle might be more comfortable but she would be darned if she was going to come back with anything less then what Fallan would have.
