A wound like this is not supposed to faze an officer of his stature. So he must be strong at all times. Sevris head snapped up as Kaie asked him a question directly, "You fight well. Tell me, how did you know they had mages?" The Lazarin heir could not help but smile at the question. He wavered his way towards and merely whispered in her ear, "That secret is for next time." He pulled off his helmet and gave her a fleeting wink as he walked away. "We will meet again Myrian. Soon." Sevris gave his commanders the order to clear and block this path off so that they could assess the damages and clean up. Under his command they had successfully destroyed another base of the heretics. Lazerin would undoubtedly be pleased with this successful mission. One step at a time before he could be granted audience with Silvas.

Just a note, Sevris. You mentioned fighting an Inartan and a Human. Inartans ARE humans, just a subrace... the only visible difference is that they have red hair, and are shorter than usual... Those traits could turn up in any normal human.
